Chapter 16

Rytsar along with the rest of the assault force were now furiously slaughtering Grimm until all of them are dead. After the conflict ended Rytsar now enbarked on one of the Bullheads heading back towards Atlas. The rest of the Atlas forces were now cleaning up any surviving Grimm and are now building defenses and bases near the city.

Alexis: Well girls, how many did you kill? I got 615 points. Plus 100 more after rescuing Yang.

Coco: I got 546 Grimm. Not too shabby myself...

Yang: I got 616, Alexis. And I told you that it only counts as one.

Pyrrha: Ladies, there is no point in arguing.... Because I killed 783 Grimm! Ha! You are treating me to a buffet after this, Alexis.

Alexis: That's impossible.......

As the women were arguing over who got the most points, Ruby was running towards them with bad news.

Ruby: Guys! Mrs. Goodwitch has been taken by the White Fang!

The other girls : WHAT?!?!?

Ruby: She was surrounded, and had no choice but to surrender.

Alexis: Let's go back to Atlas. We need to know more.

The girls and the rest of their teams now head towards Atlas. All of them are confused and shocked on how Glynda was captured by the White Fang.

Timeskip to Atlas HQ.

Rytsar: Tell me where are they taking her.

Ironwood: We are still tracking them. They were detected heading North-West. *Points at map* On that dragon-shaped continent. We are now checking their flight pattern to see where they are landing.

Winter: We need a week or two to find out their exact position. With that time, we can prepare for a full scale assault! We are also bound to find hundreds of thousands of Grimm on Salem's fortress. Attacking on your own will be suicide!!!

Rytsar: No!!! We need to find them now! I will not let them do horrible things to her! I don't want her life to end like Julia's.

Ozpin: Rytsar, please calm down. We will find her. I am sure of that. Please rest, you have done a lot today.

Rytsar: I understand what you are trying to do Ozpin. But how can I stay calm when I know that Glynda is in the hands of Salem?!? Because of that, my normal calm has been compromised and I am something beyond furious.

Ironwood: We will have their location in a week. Go get some rest.

Rytsar: I will leave now.....

Timeskip to Atlas factory....

Penny: How goes our little project, my computer cutie?~

Percival: I-It's almost done, *shudders* my dear.

Penny: I wonder what shall we call our baby?

Rytsar: Enginseer Percival, I need your assistance in something. Come with me.

Percival: Yes sir! *scurries to Rytsar* What is it, Milord?

Rytsar: I need your assistance in building something to help rescue Glynda.

Percival: I shall help you in anyway possible. *Whispers* Just get me away from Penny as far away as possible.

Rytsar: Let's go.

Rytsar and Percival now head towards their workshop and starts building the project that will help Rytsar rescue Glynda. Determined to rescue the one he loves, Rytsar will never stop until it is finished. He then remembers that his reinforcements will arrive in a week, but he doesn't know what day they will arrive.

4 days later.......

Days of non-stop working has finally paid off. Rytsar has a fully functioning weapon at his disposal, ready to slaughter the forces of Salem and lay siege to her fortress. He then goes to the command center to tell them about this.

Rytsar: I am going inside the fortress. I am going to slaughter them and make them pay.

Alexis: Take me with you! I am sure I can be of assistance.

Rytsar: Are you sure? This attack may kill you. I can't lose another person important to me.

Alexis: *Blushes* I can handle myself! Don't worry!

Rytsar: I will trust your word in that. Remember to stay close to me, and cover my back.

Ironwood: Stop! What are you two doing? You can't just waltz in Salem's fortress without Atlas support!

Rytsar: With all due respect, General. I have centuries of combat experience and I know how to handle myself.

Alexis: General, we are going to rescue Glynda. And time is of the essence. Are you going to assist us?

Ironwood: I shall contact all available teams and military personnel to assist.

Percival: I am coming too! I can help disable the defenses so they can arrive and help you guys!

Rytsar: I'm using my Psyker powers to make a Warp Portal to enter the fortress. Send everyone else to the far perimeter of the fortress and wait for me and Alexis to return. I have been told that reinforcements will arrive soon.

Ironwood: I shall brief everyone of the situation.

Ozpin: I'll join Ironwood with the briefing.

Winter: I'll shall summon them to the command center.

Atlas Briefing Room.

Ironwood: So ladies and gentlemen, after our decisive victory over at the Battle for Vale. One of our trusted friends, Glynda Goodwitch, along with Doggo Squad, was taken hostage by the White Fang and brought to Salem's Fortress. After searching for a week, we have finally located the position of the fortress. It is guarded by hundreds of thousands of Grimm along with the Grimm-zilla. The fortress is filled with defenses and thousands of Salem's goons, along with Adam, Cinder and her group. We are now planning a full-scale attack on the fortress, so we can end this godforsaken battle that costed millions of innocent lives. We have also received word from Rytsar that reinforcements will arrive to help us. Our plan is to divert the Grimm and let Rytsar, Percival and Alexis to get inside. Once Glynda is rescued and the group has returned, we will hold until the reinforcements will arrive. And when they do, we will give one, final push to end this!

After the briefing, every hunter, huntress and Atlas military personnel are now preparing for the final battle that will decide the fate of the world. Many were now saying farewell, some praying and some are promising to return home safely.

The final battle will begin soon.....
