I actually wake up this morning about ten minutes before my alarm went off to the sound of a mouse walking through the floor in the attic. It is no easy feat trying to sleep through that constant noise. It's happened twice now last time it was louder and I'm sure that's a squirrel.
If you have trouble waking up start just for a few days like maybe putting your phone on a shelf or desk this way you actually instead of having the alarm buzz in your ear you are actually benfitting your body but asking it stretch to turn off the alarm. That's the problem with alarm clocks people don't put them in the right place. They don't belong on your nightstand where you can hit the snooze button. I never grew up with an alarm I was always outside and up early before the sun was out in my middle school and highschool and my parents were my wake up calls. I didn't grow up with cellphones that had the ability to set alarms on them either. I had to do the old fashion way stretch your body. And find something that tunes you maybe don't necessary like that make you feel like it's daytime
For me the birds wake me up

It's harder to wake up and go to sleep in Southern States than in the Northeast states too.
