☆Chapter 13☆ Sleeping at Jay's place

Hope's POV

I was sitting at my desk with Mira, Mina and Justine when Yui came up to my desk.

-Hello... She says, her face still bruised.

-Geez, look at Yui's face.

-What happened?

-Check out her face!

-It's a handkerchief. I bought it for you Hope. I broke up with him. Thanks for yesterday. She said, smiling at me.

-Huh? Yesterday? We saw each other?? I said, sweating.

-Oh! Right! It was a secret! She said.

I facepalmed hard.

I feel Justine, Mina and Mira looking at me.

-What happened yesterday? You fought again? Asked Mira.

-NO! I DIDN'T! I yelled.

-Hope don't lie to us!

-I SWEAR! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I yelled, running away from them.

After the class ended, I jumped on Jay's back, looking over his shoulder.

On his phone, the wallpaper was me, doing the pose of my live broadcast.

And it slowly started to click in my little brain.

Jay = loaded = money to spend = I'm a money slut and he knows it = asdf.

I put my hands on his shoulders, and seriously looked at him.

-Jay. Are you that ASDF guy?

He nodded.

-YOU CAN'T SPEND MONEY LIKE THAT ON ME! I yelled out. It's not healthy for the money to be spend like that! Wait imma give you back the money.

He started walking away.

-NO COME BACK! SHITTY LOADED BOY! I yelled, running after him.

After a while, I managed to catch him.

More like :

He let me catch him because he was pitying me.

-It's not fair... Your legs are longer... I panted.

He just shook his head, smiling.

We were heading to the entrance of the school, where Vasco was waiting for me.

-Vasco! I said, running to him. I told you to not wait for me after school! I can walk alone y'know!

-B..But it's dangerous... He whispered.

-Don't worry about me! I'm a badass, nothing can happen to me! Anyway, Jay is giving me a ride tonight!

I waved at Vasco, and climbed on Jay's motorcycle.

In no time I was at home.

When I was about to open the door, it was locked.

-No... I whispered, looking at the note.

"I don't know when I'm coming back, but there's a spare key in the flower pot"

I checked the flower pot and yelled;

-BUT THERE'S NO KEY!
Jay jumped a little when I yelled.

I explained the situation to him and he patted the back seat of his motorcycle.

I climbed back on the vehicle and in no time we were in front of Jay's big ass bloc apartment.

When I entered his apartment, the first thing I said was;

-Holy fuck. Your living room is the size of my whole home...

He gives me a little smile and guides me to the room I'll sleep in.

I looked at the room and it was ridiculously too big.

-Pft. Loaded people. I said, walking around the room.

A few hours later, I texted Justine to told her I'm sleeping at Jay's.

I went to sleep after taking a shower.

~Next Day~

I was tired as hell.

I basically slept all day in class.

I heard Daniel and the others talking about a shoe problem, but I was too tired to say shit.

When the bell rang, I went out of the school and started walking home.

After a while, I heard a klaxon sound.

I turned around to see Jay's motorcycle.

He threw me a helmet and I looked at him.

-I don't really have a choice, do I?

He shook his head and I climbed on his vehicle.

He drove me to a place where there were thugs, apparently planning to attack Daniel and the others.

So it was quite simple: We beat them up.

After this chaos, we both sat on the ground, sharing a cigarette.

As Jay was smoking, we heard:

-Woah! What happened? You did all this? You're somethin' else.

We both rapidly stand up, ready to fight.

-Hey hey it's fine. Don't worry. Those guys bug us every day - I'm sick of them. Said the boy, smiling at us.

-Het let's go! Said the other, becoming impatient.

-And hey, you shouldn't smoke. If you quit smoking you'll get a lover. Me and him quit and we both met someone.

-Hey! I said let's go! Yelled the other, clearly annoyed.

I was so confused.

I climbed back on Jay's motorcycle and he started driving.

I placed my head on his back and feel my eyes becoming heavy.

I woke up in the same room of yesterday, meaning I was at Jay's place again.

I walked into the living room to see him on the couch.

-Good morning... I mumbled, yawning.

He nodded at me and I sat beside him.

-I'm sorry I fell asleep yesterday. I said, scratching my head.

He just shook his head, basically indicating that it was alright.

~At School~

As soon as Vasco saw me, he became a softie.

-Hope! Where were you! You're supposed to wait for me! It's dangerous walking alone!

-Vasco... I'm good... I said, sighing.

He tried to argue back, but I just smiled at him, saying I'll be fine, and if something happens, I'll call him.

When me and Jay entered the classroom, Justine was a worrying mess.

-WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY?! She yelled, shaking me.

-At Jay's.

-IT'S NOT BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND TO FUCK WITH THAT YOU CAN JUST DISAPPEAR!

-Actually yes I can, but anyway he's not even my boyfriend. But calm down, I fell asleep on is back and he didn't want to wake me up, that's why I didn't text you. I'm sorry for worrying you.

She just crossed her arm and pouted at me.

She was mad, but it's just...

-You're cute! ~ I said, hugging her.

I went to my desk and talked with Daniel until Yui walked to my desk and asked:

-Hope~ what's up today? You wanna test-prep together?

-Did you say... test? I said, looking at her, slowly panicking.

-Yes silly~

-FUCK! I FORGOT WE HAD MID-TERM TESTS! I yelled, in total distress.
