The Carlyle Hotel, New York

Jackie was lying beside Jack in bed. “I think Bobby was surprised.”

“Just a little.” Jackie laughed.

“Well he did pass out.”

Jackie smiled. “When are we going back to your house?”

“Soon.”

Jackie got up and washed. When she returned Jack was dressed. “Jackie, I don’t want to go back to public life, I enjoyed having time to spend doing what I want, playing with the kids, can we still keep it a secret?”

Jackie sat down beside him. “Of course we can, I’ll move in with you and the kids and we’ll be fine.”

He kissed her cheek. “Thank you.”

The Appalachian Mountains

The Kennedy’s were moving in, the Di Maggio’s were moving out. Jackie smiled at Marilyn. “I wish you the best of luck, in married life and in your career.”

She laughed. “Thank you, good luck with him.”

“I’ll need it.” Jackie teased.

After they left Jackie went in. “It’s quite isolated.”

Jack smiled. “Yeah.”

Within twenty minutes Bobby came. “Well it’s nice up here.” He teased.

Jack nodded. “I’ve missed your company little brother.”

Bobby laughed. “Thanks.”

Jackie watched as they hugged. Suddenly Caroline came running in. “Daddy, John want’s you.”

He smiled and went upstairs. Caroline jumped on her Uncle. “You seem happier, what was up with you before?” Bobby asked.

She turned to his ear. “I’m really glad Mum and Dad are back together I didn’t like Marilyn.”

Bobby laughed. “I understand now.”

Jackie watched, she’d missed these family scenes.
