The next time Bruce walked in he wasn't alone, a lady that looked like she was in her early 20's with brown hair and eyes that matched walked close behind and smiled brightly at me when she caught my eye.
'she seems quite nice'
"Sorry it took a while, I was talking to Dr. Helen Cho here", he signaled to said person then turned back to me "We were going over what I found and she was willing to help you" she smiled even brighter if that was even possible.
"No, it's fine" I wasn't too bothered, they had things to do that didn't have anything to do with me.
"Oh! I forgot to get you breakfast, I'll be right back, I'm so sorry" and he was off, walking quickly out of the room.
I was not ready for that outburst jumped and my heart rate sped up, the heart monitor starting to go off as I try to calm myself down from the sudden scare.
"Hey, it's alright, no need to panic, he can be like that sometimes", she gives me another heart warming smile before looking at the clipboard that Bruce had just before.
After a couple of minutes of looking through its contents, she paused, then looked up at me and then back down again, obviously surprised by something but was interrupted as Bruce returned.
"Here you go, I didn't know what you liked so I grabbed multiple things, you don't need to eat it all, and if you need me we will be in the room next to this one", with that said he opened the door for Dr. Cho and walked out after her.
'Well at least he didn't expect me to be able to eat it all' I thought in relief. Inspecting everything I realized he did give you a lot of options. There was bacon and eggs, toast, porridge, orange juice, water, and Pop-tarts?
'Huh, what a weird thing to eat for breakfast' With that thought in mind I picked up a slice of toast and nibbled on it knowing my stomach won't be able to handle much food, unless I wanted to feel really sick.
Once I was done, I managed to get down a slice of toast and some juice, I even tried some pop-tart, it looked really yummy. Putting the tray aside on the table next to me, I sat there and waited, seeing if they were going to return.
I started to get curious as to what kind of medical room this was, I knew I shouldn't get up, but curiousity got the better of me, I looked at the tables of equipment, something caught your eye as you reached for it.
"Whats a worthless Midgardian like you doing in here?" a silky voice spoke from behind me, and in shock my hand flung back and I spun around to see in the doorway a very weirdly dressed man, he was wearing a black and green robe-like attire that was laced with gold here and there, with long black hair down to his shoulders that looked really soft, and green eyes that were like emeralds.
Not knowing what to say I just stuttered out incoherent words, I knew I should have stayed in bed. He just scoffed at me, showing obvious resentment towards me, for god knows what reason.
"I don't know why you're here, or who you are exactly, but I notice your putting quite some stress on certain people here. It seems your quite a annoyance", with that said he turned back around and strutted away
It wasn't something new to be called something of the like, so I just shrugged it off, but as I was walking back to my allocated bed, something sharp catches my eye, a piece of metal it seemed. A cut of from one of the projects in the table, I snatch it, not actually sure what I'm going to do with it. Just as I was getting back in bed, Dr. Cho walks back in with that smile in her face, I quickly stuff the piece under my pillow.
"Oh, hello," I say as to not be rude.
"Hello, I would like you to take these, they are just some pain killers to help with any residing pain you may have", she quickly hands them over me, I take them from her looking in the cup to see two kinds of tablets.
Without a second thought I took the pills with a sip of water, just adding to your already full stomach. She smiled once more before moving to the other side of the room just as Bruce made his entrance once more, looking at your attempt of your breakfast with a calculated look on his features.
"You couldn't eat anymore? That's alright I didn't expect you to eat much after the most recent events," he spoke with a surprisingly, slightly sorrowful tone in his voice. "Anyway, Helen? Could you please take this tray back to the kitchen?" He asked politely, and she straight away did as asked.
"Um, Bruce?" I question, which instantly made his head rise to look at me.
"Yes?"
"C-could I please go to the bathroom?" I ask, as I really needed to go.
"Of course you can, when you walk out the door turn right and it will be on the door to your left" thanking him I left the room.
