The sound of shuffling feet and whispering caused you to stir in your uneventful sleep. Peaking an eye open you see Bruce, Helen and a guy decked out in all black, confused you closed your eye again and feigned sleep, but apparently the new guy caught your eye and called you out.
"I know your awake" spoke a very flat voice, void of any emotion.
Sighing you opened your eyes and sat up so you could get a good look at who the new person was, and at first glance you knew you didn't want to cross this guy when hes angry. You didn't have the time to see what the others were doing before he started to speak again which you automatically looked straight at him then realized that wasn't what you were suppose to do and put your head down just as quickly.
"Do you know where you are?" He asked.
You shook your head then thought that he would probably want a verbal response.
"No sir"
"The building you reside in is known as Stark tower, or it was known as Stark tower before the destruction of most of the city, and because of that it is now the Avengers tower", your eyes widen at this piece of newfound information, and thoughts flooded your mind at once.
'I'm at the Avengers tower?'
'I have been living in the same tower as the avengers?'
'That's awesome!'
The man with an eye patch started talking again breaking you out of your thoughts.
"I know exactly who you are so there is no need for you to tell me your name, I am Nick Fury, the director of the organisation called S.H.E.I.L.D, you are also probably wondering why I'm telling you this, but let me ask you something, have you done things that you could not explain?"
You look at him in confusion, questions going a million miles per hour. The one standing out the most was.
'He knows who I am?'
After a couple of seconds you realized he asked you a question and thought about it, did you ever make things happen you could never explain. And the answer was simple. No, you hadn't.
"No, I haven't, why would you ask?" You question, interested as to what he was going on about.
He looked relieved by your answer and shook his head telling you it was nothing to worry about and he was just making sure everything was alright.
"As you are still healing up you will be living here longer so I have decided, well me and some others had decided and agreed to give you your own room for the time being," A noise from the other side of the room was made by someone and you looked over to see it came from Bruce, and for some reason he look so happy, and had no idea as to why. Then you happened to think about something and had to ask.
"What about my parents?" you were genuinely curious as you knew they would be beyond pissed about this.
"We have that all sorted out, there is no need to worry about that", He assured me and it felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted off of your shoulders.
After a couple minutes of talking with Fury you were given your breakfast and was left alone, later they were going to take you up to your temporary room, and you would be lying if you said you weren't excited.
