Once you had finished your breakfast Bruce came back in and told you that Fury had an appointment and couldn't make it and he would show me instead, which was completely fine as Fury intimidated you. While you were getting up you had this wave of excitement wash over you because you were going to see more of the place the Avengers resided in, and of course Tony Stark,  for some reason when you thought of him you got this weird feeling in your chest, but you shook it off as just nerves.

Following Bruce down the halls, you got to see more of the places, but it looked like this floor was just used for inventing and medical equipment by the looks of all the tables covered in tools.

'Did they not have a proper medical area?' You pondered to yourself.

Not realizing that he had stopped in front of you, you crashed into him and fell to the floor from impact, he quickly spun around and made sure you were okay, which you just brushed him off and stood up with slight difficulty. Once you were on your two feet the elevator opened up and you were shocked to see how nice it was, apparently Stark loved to make everything in this place look over the top and expensive.

Stepping in with Bruce you realized when you looked down at your arms the tape had fallen off your left arm and the bandage was starting to undo by itself, so without thinking you stepped out to find the tape that was now missing, not realizing the elevator was now closed leaving Bruce by himself.

Finding the tape you quickly put it on your bandaged arm so it was secured again, then you remembered you were supposed to be in the elevator with Bruce and spun around just to see the doors shut meaning you just missed it and Bruce must be going up by himself. Groaning in frustration you started to hit yourself in the head for your own stupidity. While you were reprimanding yourself for being an idiot, you heard footsteps coming down the walkway and you turn around to see who it was, and of course with your ,luck it just had to be. Tony Fucking Stark. Seeing him you immediately stopped your punishment and stood there not knowing what to say in front of the billionaire, but it looked like you didn't have to say anything because he started to speak first.

"Um, what are you doing up here all by your self miss?" For some reason, he seemed shocked to see you here, but it quickly vanished when he started to speak again. "Don't tell me you're trying to sneak out, are you?" He asked, his arms crossed while looking at you with a teasing expression. Not knowing what was happening you stuttered up an excuse.

"u-uh, no, I-I was s-suppose to go with Bruce to go see the room I-I will be staying in" Nice one Y/N, you really saved yourself, didn't you?

"Oh, okay then, would you like me to take you up there to meet back with Dr. Banner?" Not knowing what else you should do, you quickly nodded your head and got in the elevator with To-Stark and made your way up to meet Bruce. The ride up was silent and just plain awkward for you, but looking over at Stark he looked perfectly fine, he was probably used to this kind of thing.

You were jolted out of your thoughts once again when the elevator stopped abruptly, not being able to grip anything to stay upright you tumble forward being caught by a strong pair of arms. You looked up to see Stark looking down at you, concern written all over his face, slowly helping you steady yourself once again.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine, just fell forward, nothing to worry about," You quickly brush him off, although you were upset when the warmth of his hands were gone, which was odd. Looking away from him you realize that the lights had gone out, and it was pretty well pitch black minus the emergency light that was in the corner that illuminated Stark's face, bringing out his handsome features.

When you snapped out of it, you scolded yourself for thinking that, you had only just met him two weeks ago and you were already thinking things that you knew you shouldn't.
