After 'compelling' a vervained Katerina, to lure Jenna Sommers outside of her house, Klaus grabbed her and forced her to drink his blood before he snapped her neck. It felt amazing to do so, especially after she had shouted at him to leave her house the other day when he was only telling her the truth. How disrespectful!

As he took Jenna's body to the place where the ritual was going to be performed, he asked Greta to aid the vampire-to-be in completing her transition once she awoke. He was successful in his proposal, by pressing his lips against the witch's neck seductively. Of course, Greta swooned, and promised him that she would do as he asked.

He then collected Elena - who was a willing participant - and left her in Greta's capable hands. He did love it when a plan went without a hitch.

Klaus was annoyed that Damon Salvatore had killed Maddox (only because the Original didn't have the pleasure of doing it himself), but he had Greta anyway, and the ritual did only need one witch to perform the spell. In any case, as payback for his idiocy, Damon was going to die a lovely slow and painful death from that lovely werewolf bite on his arm.

Tyler Lockwood had escaped too, but there was no need to worry - wolves travelled in packs! So, Jules was the lucky replacement.

Klaus prided himself on always being prepared, for every situation.

He breathed in the air, satisfied with the feeling of imminent victory and freedom as he made his way through the trees and towards the ritual grounds. He could feel the warmth of the fire before he could see it, he could smell the smoke and hear the crackling of bracken and dried leaves which lit excitement and impatience within him.

"My duty is to Klaus! The new order!"

Klaus grinned towards the witch, as he arrived to the party. "Glad to know I still have a dance partner." He commented, before turning his attention to the three women encased in magically flaming circles. "Hello, my lovelies. Are we ready?"

He rolled his eyes as Jules moaned in pain, and he took his position at the top of a nearby hill beside Greta. He extracted the moonstone from his pocket, and held it towards the witch.

"I've spent over five hundred years looking for this. I hate to part with it."

Greta took it from him with a smile, and then looked up to the sky, "The moon has passed its apex. Do you remember what you need to do?"

"Remember?" Klaus scoffed, watching as Greta dropped the moonstone into a stone bowl, containing fire. "I've been reading my lines as though they were Shakespeare." He wandered tauntingly down the hill, and towards Jules as Greta began to chant.

"Shall we?" He questioned the wolf as the flames around her died down.

Her eyes began to glow an angry amber, and Klaus marvelled them for a moment before catching her by her throat as she rushed to attack him. His strength far surpassed hers, and he slammed her back against the ground and thrust his hand into her chest. He could both hear and feel her ribs breaking, as he clasped his fingers around her rapidly beating heart. He yanked it out without remorse, and returned to Greta's side to squeeze blood from the sacrificial werewolf heart, into the stone bowl.

The flames began to sizzle as Greta continued to chant, and Klaus felt euphoric as he made his way towards Jenna - and watched her squirm. "Hello, Jenna." He greeted her.

"Let her go!" Elena demanded weakly, and Klaus only smiled at the obvious tears in her voice. "I understand that I have to die, but she doesn't!"

She made her way closer towards the flames, and Klaus watched as they flared higher, to prevent her from crossing them.

"Careful." He teased her, as she stepped backwards.
