Klaus felt free as he scampered around on four legs; exploring his pelted form. He spent his first act as a wolf, paying Bethany Forbes a visit. He kept his distance from her, of course; that vision he had had, haunted him.

It was an image of her bare back, with three huge welts ripped across her perfect skin. A wolf scratch, he knew. Wether it was from him, or not, he didn't know - but he didn't wish to go near her until he was sure that he wasn't going to hurt her.

Although he felt his inner animal eager to greet her, he controlled himself - and darted away before the alpha within him could take over. He knew then, that he had hunted, for he had awoken surrounded by bloodied bodes. He remembered every single kill, and the entire experience was magnificent.

It wasn't until some clothes were dumped on top of him, that he realised he was naked. He took his eyes off of the sun for a moment to smile up at his older brother.

"You've been busy." Elijah commented.

"That was amazing! How long has it been?"

"Almost two days." Came the response, "The full moon came, and went. You remained a wolf."

Klaus dressed himself, "I can change at will then, that's good to know." He zipped up his trousers. "I remember every single kill."

"Yes," Elijah replied, with a slightly scolding tone. "I've been clearing up your mess, along the way."

The Original Hybrid grinned, "Just like old times, brother."

"You left one alive. Didn't touch her in fact." Klaus knew exactly who he was talking about, immediately. "I thought humans were no more than worthless playthings, for you, brother?"

"You must be talking about the lovely Bethany Forbes."

"I am."

Klaus said nothing, only pulled the hoodie on over his head. He hadn't understood why he found a human interesting enough to not kill, but as soon as his wolf form was activated, he knew instantly - because he felt it. It was simple: Bethany Forbes belonged to him. He had heard the word 'mate' thrown around by werewolves, in a various number of cities and towns in almost every century, but never before had he felt it.

"Don't you wish to be reunited with our family, brother?"

"Yes. But that does not mean this conversation is over, Niklaus."

Klaus just rolled his eyes, and the two vamped their way to Alaric's apartment. He could hear Katerina talking to someone, but as he entered the room with his older brother - he found her alone.

The Petrova vampire looked up at him with wide eyes, "Klaus, you're back." Her eyes darted to someone standing behind the bookshelves, "Look who decided to come for a visit." Ratting on whoever her visitor was, wasn't going to make Klaus forgive her for her betrayal.

Stefan stepped out from his hiding spot, with a sigh, to which Klaus grinned at. It humoured him to see Katerina suddenly being so loyal.

"You just keep popping up, don't you?" He addresses the younger Salvatore.

"I need your help...for my brother."

"Well, whatever it is, it's going to have to wait a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." While Elijah exchanged a few words with Stefan, Klaus struck, and stabbed him through the heart. Elijah's betrayal would not be forgiven anytime soon, some time in his box was necessary.

Once his brothers temporarily decayed body crumpled to the ground in a heap, Klaus vamped over to Stefan and shoved him harshly against a wall.

"Now, what am I gonna do with you?" He used a stake, and impaled it through the younger vampires stomach. Stefan groaned and buckled forwards, only for Klaus to hold him up and in place.
