Recess, the best part of the day! Other than 3:45 pm of course, when the Party would go to the Wheeler's house and play D&D all night. Well, not all night because they all had to go home at 8:30 pm but they still would play for hours and hours.

Instead of making out like they always did somewhere, Lucas and Max were actually hanging out with the rest of the Party. They were leaning against the gate. The boy a darkened skin color was named Lucas Sinclair he was their Ranger. He was always prepared for anything that crossed his way, and like most people, he was scared of what he didn't understand. But that was okay because he had a collection of military stuff like knives, bandanas and those things like that. The never knew why he had all that cool stuff. Last year's Halloween he was the most prepared to fight. Lucas had his arms around his girlfriend who was beside him.

Holding her skateboard, there she was their right beside Lucas, she was their Zoomer, Maxine Mayfield. No one called her that though, it was either Max or Madmax which was the nickname she used at the arcade. Max was a tough girl and even though she got there in the second quarter of the school year, around Halloween the Party members treated her as if she was an old friend- well, most of them did. She got there during rough times, but they were all good now... or that's what they thought so.

Across from those two, there was a curly-haired boy, he was the Bard, Dustin Henderson. Dustin was the kind of person who joked around a lot and was happy all the time but knew when to take things seriously. Last Halloween strange things happened but nothing strong enough to stop Dustin from being the awesome Dustin the Party loves. Dustin was drawing on the ground with a stick, he was bored. And he wasn't the only one, to be honest, all the Party members were bored nothing had happened after last Halloween, what was supposed to be the greatest night of the year turned out to be one of the worst.

Sitting under the bleacher was the Paladin. A what used to be an optimistic and creative boy, Michael Wheeler, Mike for short, was a totally different person for 353 days. For 353 days he had a huge personality change being annoyed all the time, less optimistic, but still full of hope and would do anything for his friends. Especially being there for Will during Halloween. But now that all those 353 days were all over and he and his girlfriend El are back together, Mike was not quite there yet, but he was better, after all, he is just being an average teenager. But what he didn't know was that what took El, that thing wasn't dead yet, and it was coming back, way worse. What he also didn't know was that someone he thought would never see again would be there soon. And soon enough they would reunite.

Sitting next to Mike, there was the Mage, resting he read on Mike's shoulder, Eleven, El, Jane, Jane Ives, Hopper, or even Eleanor whatever you want to call her, she was back. Back from 353 days of torture, yes she was safe from the "Badman" but she couldn't Mike and the others. Eleven had powers and spent her whole life in a lab until she ran away and Mike, Lucas, and Dustin found her. At first, Lucas and Dustin weren't sure about her, but Mike always trusted her, and she trusted him. That's why she sacrificed herself to save him and her friends from what happened... but this is in the past. While she was what the Party believed she was dead, she was actually with Hopper. Hopper, the chief wouldn't let her go anywhere because it would be way too dangerous for her. But now he decided to let her go to school, where she caught up really well, educationally and socially. She didn't really like Max, and neither did Mike, but El was starting to like max and they eventually started being friends, maybe even best friends.

Sitting next to Mike's other side was the Cleric, William Byers. Will out of all the six members of the Party was the one most traumatized. He had been stuck in a horrible place for a whole week and even after that when Hopper (the town's chief) and Joyce (his mother), rescued him he still got flashbacks. Until those so-called flashbacks, turned out to be real and he almost got stuck again. But he had Mike, his best friend since kinder garden. Mike was really different, the party was really different, and Will couldn't understand why. He had been gone for a week and BOOM! The party was acting like they weren't kids anymore, which they were... right? At least that's what Will thought so, maybe he didn't know but now that they were thirteen they were officially teenagers. But Will didn't want to, didn't want to grow up, you know?

The Party was in silence until the bell rang. When they got to their next period which they all had together, with Mr.Clark, that's when they got the news and that's when things changed for Mike.
