The wedding invitation in of itself was a surprise to everyone. Sasuke rarely left his newly-furnished compound ever since settling back in there after the war. His spotted appearances were scarce, though he'd leave the compound to buy from the morning market every so often.
And Sakura's arrival in of itself was a surprise to everyone as well. Everyone remembered Sakura's old infatuation regarding the now-wedded Uchiha. And, considering how intense the infatuation was, it was a wonder how she managed to sit in the front row, watch him be wedded off to some redhead, and not shed a single tear. Someone said ooh, the Uchiha shouldn't have invited her, have you seen her when she gets angry? She stomps so hard the ground cracks and Sakura scoffed, because people could only ever notice her strength in the most civil of times.
But she sat still beside Keiko, a graceful smile on her face, knowing that she herself wished for the two of them to live a future together. And then the third came along, running down the aisle with two rings in and a wide smile giggling on her face.
And Sasuke, in the midst of all this surprise, grabbed his new wife's hand by the ring and the young child's hand with his other, holding the two of them in some new embrace.
"I love you, Karin."
