Majority of it is just script... .-.
I never slept that night. I found myself at 5 a.m pacing back and forth in my living room, contemplating whether I should meet the person who texted me or not. I eventually came to the conclusion that I will go meet them, but only for my sake, not Levi's. I was still worried about him, but I had the words "I don't loved you" etched in my brain, and they hurt like hell. The whole situation I put myself made me emotionally and physically sick.
I honestly wanted to run. Just simply run away, maybe start over in another city, hell, maybe even another country. I thought I may have fixed my relationship with Mikasa and Armin, but I wasn't sure about Levi. I honestly believed that Levi hated me. Yet again, Jean said that Levi was with me, which means that Levi went into my apartment. Why would've he went in there after what happened? It made no sense to me so I decided to block it from my mind for a bit and only focus on getting myself mentally prepared for meeting the mystery texter. I was nervous, and not to mention, terrified. I was scared to meet a friend of Levi's. It felt like it was almost impossible for Levi, over the time of knowing him, I realized that he probably shut a lot of people out of his life, just like me.
------------
I attended my classes as usual. I didn't go straight to my apartment, instead, I walked down a street just off Broadway until I reached a small cafe. I saw Jean walk out of the building. I quickly ducked behind a car so he wouldn't notice me, luckily, he didn't. I walked into the cafe and got into a small lineup. It smelt like really any coffee shop, ground coffee beans and the lingering scent of girls perfume.
I ended up ordering a small pumpkin spice latte and sitting down at a table in the corner of the room. The clock rolled closer to 6:30 with every passing minute. A few people walked in and out of the building, except two. One of those two I recognized immediately as Erwin Smith. Next to him was a tall, brunette, women with a ponytail and large glasses. They both ordered a coffee and sat down at the table with me. The women reached out her hand, "Eren Jaeger, right?"
I nodded and shook her hand, "and you are?"
"Hanji Zoe! I'm a friend of Levi's. And this is Erwin. I'm sure you've heard of him."
That bastard. Of course I've heard of him. I've only envied him since I met Levi.
"I've heard of him a fair amount of times"
He put out a hand, "finally I get to meet you, Jaeger."
I hastily shook his hand. It was much larger than mine, it was almost intimidating. I muttered out something that sounded like "hey".
They both pulled out a chair and sat down in front of me. Hanji's excited expression changed into something more serious and the space between us intensified instantly. I figured if I were to ask, now was the time.
"Where's Levi?"
Erwin crossed his arms in front of his chest. "We suspect he's in France."
"France? Why the hell would he be there?"
Hanji pushed up her glasses to the bridge of her nose, "He never told you about his past, did he?"
I shook my head, "all I know about him is that he's 22, he's a grump, he loves Erwin, and he's the one who found me."
Hanji raised a brow, "found you?"
Erwin set a hand on her shoulder, "he tried to kill himself. Petra was his nurse"
I intruded, "How did you know Petra was my nurse?"
