The day wasn't over yet, but I did decide to change  into something more comfortable. I hadn't trained in a week and that's a major set back for a princess like myself. I trained almost every other day with my dad back home. It was just simple self defense tactics. But, father always told me it was like combat fighting when it came to me.

He'd always leave training with at least one bruised muscle after we were done. It made me laugh how he'd swear he'd beat me next time. I slipped on my shoes before sliding off my bed. I was sure not to wake Zoe up. She needed her beauty sleep if she was going to snatch Ben from Mal. Boyfriend stealing takes a lot of energy out of her.

I snuck out of our dorm and down the hall. Earlier my siblings and I were informed that there is a curfew enforced here on campus, but we all know people don't listen. I made sure all of my hair was pulled back into a ponytail. It could get pretty annoying having to fight my hair from getting in my eyesight.

I wasn't much of a runner, but I had to get there I was going before anyone saw I was out past curfew

I wasn't much of a runner, but I had to get there I was going before anyone saw I was out past curfew. I remember the tour Ben gave us earlier after Zoe's little drama queen moment. He showed us every in of the campus so, I could say I was a little familiar with where everything was located. I wanted to train in the gym hall.

I arrived within maybe five minutes of running. I reached for the door and surprisingly it was unlocked. I hadn't thought about if it were to be locked. Would have ran all the way over here for nothing. I pushed the door open carefully making my way inside. It was a little chilly in here but, I was going to warm up as soon as I began training myself.

There were different rooms for different events. There was a fitness room to my right, a yoga room to my left, a locker room for boys and another for girls further down the hall. I decided to settle for the fencing lounge which was just the right amount of space needed to run around practicing my kicks and flips. I waisted no timing doing a few jumping jacks before stretching my muscles. My muscles were already warmed up from running to get here so I didn't have to worry about catching a cramps in between stretches.

"Hi? What's a little lady like you doing here at this time of night?" A voice swooned.

I quickly hopped up from stretching my legs spinning around in defense mode. The guy raised his hands up slightly before giving a small smirk.

"Woah woah. Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. I was just wondering what you were doing in my lounge." He chuckled.

I stood up straight before reaching for my ponytail. I only do that when I'm nervous. His eyes continued to focus on me as he lowered his hands into his front pockets.

"Just here to get a small workout in. Nothing major. You?" I replied stepping back to continue stretching.

"I was just making sure no one else was in the building before I locked up. The captain of the fencing team should be the first one here and the last to leave is what coach says, but that'll change soon because I hate waiting."

I gave a small chuckle finishing my stretches before stepping closer to him with my hands on my hips.

"Sneaky and funny. How do you do it?"

"It comes naturally." He boasted.

He smiled before reaching out his right hand. "The names Jay."

I gladly shook his hand. "Svetlana. But, I prefer Lana if you will."

"Noted." He nodded before folding his arms revealing his bulky muscles.

"So, Lana, how come I've never seen you around before? Not to sound conceited or anything but I've hit on almost every beautiful girl here yet I somehow managed to miss one."

I mentally laughed. I see we have a cocky one on our hands. Cute but not my type. I'm sure Giselle will have a field day with him and his hair.

"That's because I just got here today. Me and four of my siblings actually. Three sisters and one overly protective brother."

"Ah, so there's more of you." He swooned.

"Did you not hear the overly protective brother part?" I asked amused at this kids comment.

"I heard you, but what's that got to do with me?"

I nodded holding my hands up in defeat. "I guess you're right."

"I have to get back to my dorm. My friends are waiting for me, but it was nice meeting you. Maybe I'll see you around?" Jay said backing away to the door.

"Definitely. You know you're the first friend I've made on campus so far."

Jay held his chest placing a small smile on his face. "I feel special now. I'll see you later Lana."

"See you later."

Jay turned away from me and hurried out of the building leaving me to begin my self training. I turned away from the door before beginning to do multiple backflips around the lounge. I added in a few air kicks and punches here and there. My main focus was perfecting my backflips. I was in the middle of doing maybe my twentieth flip when a sharp pain grew in my abdomen.

I winced falling to the matted floor in pain. I couldn't breathe very well and as I was trying to catch my breathe, everything turned purple..literally. But, it was only for a split second.

the cards, the cards, the cards will tell!

My eyes burned slightly as if I hadn't been to sleep in days. I rolled over onto my stomach trying to pull myself up, but it felt as if something was holding me down. Something was crushing my back.

you're changin', you're changin', you're changin' alright !

I wanted to scream so bad, but my voice was caught in my throat. My hands gripped onto the floor as I gritted my teeth. I didn't know what was going on. The echo that I was hearing frightened me the most. I didn't know where it was coming from because I was the only one in the building.

you can blame my friends on the other side !

And in a snap the weight lifted off of my back as I was able to breathe again. The pain from my eyes melted away as I regain the strength to stand. I waisted not time running out of the building and back to my dorm. I had only been here not even a full day and strange things are happening.

It was something that terrified me.
