"GISELLE, wake up! It's time to get ready for class."
How is it even remotely possible that I can hear my twin sister yell from the bathroom as I'm still sleeping? She maybe older than me by 2 minutes but she can't order me around. I turned over in my bed reaching for my phone. It's the first thing I check in the morning. I have to stay up to date on what goes on in the world.
"I'm up, Jasmin. Stop yelling." I replied ripping the covers off of my body before rubbing my face.
I was exhausted. Jas and I stayed up all night practicing our dance routine for cheer try outs later today. Somehow I don't know how she's up so early. It scares me how happy she is about school honestly. Tonight I have to remember to do my weekly face mask. I could feel a small pimple beginning to form on my right cheek. I rolled out of bed and went straight to my dresser.
Since Jasmin was in the bathroom I had no choice but to wait. I looked in the mirror and got started on doing something to my hair. There are days when my hair wants to cooperate with me and there are days when she's more obnoxious than Lana gets on her bad days. I had set out he makeup that I was going to wear for the day and then looked through my dresser and closet for something to wear. Eventually I settled for cute little green dress and some heels.
Jasmin came from out of the bathroom already dressed and ready to go. She plopped down on her bed packing the rest of her book into her book bag. I rushed into the bathroom so I could quickly wash my face and brush my teeth.
"So, I got a call from the head cheerleader. Audrey something. I forgot her last name, but anyways she said to be ready for auditions right after school. Like...as soon as the bell ring." Jasmin said.
I quickly rinsed my facial wash off and patted my face dry with my towel. I squinted. "That's kind of impossible considering we still have to change into our gym attire before heading to the field where tryouts are being held." I explained.
I rushed back out of the bathroom and began doing my makeup. I could see Jasmin stand from her bed through the mirror. She placed her bag into her back before grabbing her phone and little handbag.
"I don't make the rules here, sis. We'll just try our best to get to try outs right after school. I'm sure Audrey will understand." Jas waltzed over and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before heading out of the door.
"See you in fourth."
I began applying my lipgloss before rushing to my bed to get dressed. "See ya, Jas."
I easily slipped on my dress. I fell onto the bed son that I could strap on my heels. I quickly stuffed my books into my bag when my phone began to ring. I reached over the bed and grabbed my phone. I answered without checking caller I.D.
"Princess Giselle's phone." I answered.
"Goodmorning to you too princess." The voice laughed.
I sighed continuing to get ready for class. "Goodmorning Zoe. To what do I owe this call?"
"I was just checking in to make sure Jasmin remembered to wake you up. You know how hard of a sleeper you are."
It's true. I can sleep through anything. No matter how bad the havoc is. I grabbed my book bag and my purse as I was heading out of the door. I had to get to breakfast before first period began. I didn't want to be starving while sitting in class.
"I know. I know. Jasmin woke me up late, but at least she remembered. I'm heading down to breakfast now." I explained.
"Ooh. At 7:45? Class starts at 8:00 you know? So, if I were you I would put some pep in my step my girl. Lana and I already ate and I see Jas grabbing her food now."
