"SVETLANA. Nice to run into you again seeing you forgot about our little get together that never happened yesterday."
I looked away from my phone too see Grace leaning into her opened locker with her arms folded. I was just coming from lunch with the girls. Zoe told the twins and I about what happened to Dylan. He had another one of his episodes. She said he'll be fine, but I was going to visit him after school any ways.
"Grace, sorry to disappoint, but I got caught up in some drama yesterday with my sisters. I'm sure you can find in your heart to forgive me." I smirked inching closer towards her.
"I figured something had to happen for you to forget about me."
I leaned against a closer locker facing her. She looked nothing like her mother. Who had blonde hair blue eyes and the personality of a ten year old. Grace in the other hand seemed more calm and collected. Very witty and more punk rocker-ish. She does have her mother's eyes I can tell you that much.
"Let's talk."
Grace had shut her locker and walk side by side with me down the hall. It was lunch and I was headed out to see the twins tryout for cheer. They were supposed to try out yesterday but the captain pushed it back.
"Fine time for you guys to enroll into Auradon Prep considering the proclamation that Ben has bestowed upon us."
I sighed at the mention of Ben and this proclamation. " We probably would've enrolled a lot sooner if our parents had allowed it, but we stayed back in our home country and went to a private school out there."
"What was it like?"
"Nothing like this place I can tell you that much."
Grace and I swing open the double doors leading to the tourney field. The twins tryouts were gonna be out here.
"How come? Aren't there princes and princess where you come from?"
"Yes. That would be only me and my siblings. We were the only royals living in that country which is what made us so powerful. We ruled over the rich."
I was careful not to step into any grass. I didn't want to ruin the back of my heels.
"We were the only royals attending school. Everyone else was just rich and snobby. But, people assumed we were all three. Considering we never talked to anyone, are hung with anyone. We were our own club back home."
"That sound terribly boring. How did you do it?" Grace asked.
"It was easy actually. My siblings and I were inseparable at a young age. So when we it came to elementary, middle, and high school, it was like a piece of cake. Some people were scared to talk to us. Whereas others thought it'd be fun to start rumors about us. But, Zoe was quick to put them in their place."
Grace and I reached the bleachers. We sat at the very bottom so that we could get a better view of the tryouts. I sat my book bag on the floor of the bleached next to me and crossed my legs at the ankles.
"Still sounds like a better life than I've been having so far. I've been here in Auradon since I was born. Some of the royals here don't even know what courtesy and respect is when it comes to regulars like me. I may be rich, but I have no royal status what so ever."
"I wish I had those problems. Just rich with no royal status. Then I wouldn't have to worry about my reputation twenty-five eight."
Grace and I chuckled at each other. The cheerleaders were on the field just waiting around. I seen the twins come from my right. They were dressed in their workout clothes.
