CARLOS didn't know where to start. His girlfriend of only one day was sitting across from him in his dorm. He looked into her beautiful brown eyes and instantly regret what he had done to her. That love potion made her more than just in like with him.

"Lana, what was that earlier today?"

Svetlana held both of Carlos' hands trying to sooth him of his sadness. It was working, but it would soon come to an end.

"My parents were being so demanding. They were over exaggerating about my outfit and it just made me angry. I knew introducing you as my boyfriend would take their minds off of what I was wearing atleast." She admitted.

Carlos shook his head in defeat. The potion was very strong he could tell, and he didn't know how much longer he had until it wore off. Carlos leaned away from Lana causing their hands to slip apart. Lana looked down at their separated hands in just a little bit of sadness.

"Did I do something wrong?"

Carlos shook his head. "No, it's just...why would you do that? Lana, we've only been dating for a day."

"When you love someone it doesn't matter how long you've been together."

Carlos rose to his feet trying not to get angry with her because he knew what she was doing and saying wasn't her fault. It was his.

"That's just it. You don't love me. It's all in your head."

Lana followed behind Carlos watching as he went to the window. She was a little hurt by his comment. She didn't know where the sudden dissatisfaction came from but she wanted to fix it.

"I-I'm sorry if I made you upset, Carlos. I was just excited about finally being able to call you my boyfriend and-"

Carlos didn't bother to look at her. He felt more guilty than ever before. He shouldn't be feeling this way. A VK should never feel guilty about anything bad they do. Lana couldn't finish her sentence. Her head was hurting slightly and her vision became a little blurry but, it was only for a second. The love potion was supposed to last up to three days. A week if they were lucky.

But the way Carlos acted as if he didn't want to be near Lana was making the potion slowly wear off, and the princess was slowly coming to her senses.

"You're embarrassed of me." She mumbled to herself.

Carlos did hear, and he spun around so fast he almost caught whiplash. He shook his head stepping forward to place his hands on around her waist, but Lana took a step back refusing to look at him.

"Why would you say that? I'm not embarrassed of you. I like you a lot, Lana."

"But, you don't love me." She argued tears threatening to fall from her eyes, "Not like how I love you."
