I face the gray sidewalks, letting the hoodie cover over my head. I took my time walking slowly, feeling energyless.

I constantly put the ice bag over my eye. Every time I do so, I hiss in pain.

Crap. I hate this. I just want to nock out on my bed already and forget that I exist. I thought as I put pressure against my cheek with the ice pack.

As I got close to home, I notice the front gates of my house is left wide open.

Weird. I thought, squinting my eyes and putting the ice pack down.

I remember closing it this morning before I left. My mom wouldn't go out at this time. I start to walk a bit faster towards the gate of my house.

What? I thought, also seeing the door of my house is left open.

Then, it hit me.

Oh no.. I thought.

I go straight to the door to barge in, swinging it wide open. My eyes widen at the sight.

I knew it.. I thought, dropping my ice pack in disbelief.

I cross my arms, disappointingly seeing my mother kissing with a stranger. The stranger looks like a creepy old bum that can hide in alley ways or under a dirty freeway.

This always happens. Every time a door is mysteriously left open from my house, I come home to see this. Not that I'm surprised, she done this a lot before, I just thought she learned her lesson..

Mom keeps kissing the stranger. I notice the bottles and beer cans littered on the floor around them.

"Mom" I said, frustrated with her behavior.

My mom stops kissing the stranger and tries to focus on facing me, but she keeps moving her head around drunkly.

"Wh-what huh?" My mom drunkly said.

The stranger didn't bother to face me, as he keeps smiling at my mom. He kept playing and twirling her hair to try to get her attention.

My mom faces back to the stranger as he goes for another kiss again.

"Hey!" I walk towards him as I kick the bottles and cans away from my path.

The stranger stops kissing my mom to face me.

Ew. I thought, smelling the alcohol emitting from the old man.

"Get out before I call the cops" I sternly said to the old stranger.

My mom sighs in disappointment. The old man turns to smile at my mom.

"Maybe next time hot stuff" The old man said to my mom as she smiles back.

The old man gets up off the sofa and heads out to the door, almost tripping himself on the way. I followed behind until he got out of the house. I shut the door loud enough for him to hear how annoyed I was.
