I walk down the school hallway, where people are bustling and talking against lockers.

Ugh. The more I walk, the more I get heads turn to me.

Some giggling. Some whispering. I grew used to it all already.

I pull the laces of my hoodie tighter to avoid eye contact from the passing faces of students.

Few months have passed since Ethan punched me on the first day of school. He warned everyone not be friends with me after that, or else they"ll end up like me.  A nobody.

"Yo wassup Gay-son?!" Some dude ahead taunts me.

I bit my bottom lip. Keeping my eyes on the hallway floor as I kept walking. Our shoulders brush pass each other.

"Dude, his name's Bailey-Boy!" Another joins in as they both burst out laughing.

I shot back a disgusted look from behind. Not only did Ethan warned everyone, but he also spread a rumor that I'm going out with James, in which is so not true.

Also finding out my middle name..

James is my only friend that I can come and talk to about anything. James was the only one there for me, the only one who stayed friends with me, regardless of Ethan's threats. How can I give up a friend like him?

Of course I could care less what others say about us. I just care that we're still friends, and that I'm not too alone.

"Hey Grayson!" James happily said, coming next to my locker that I just opened.

"Hi" I said with a smile.

"You know what today is?" James asked.

"Uhh.. fire drill today?" I guessed.

"Nope" James said. "That's next week"

"Then if it's not that, then I guess I gotta take this out.." I said as I dug and skim through my back pack.

"Here ya go" I said to James with a smile.

I slid out a folder from my backpack and handed it to James

"What's this?" James asks, looking at the folder.

James opens up the folder before I could even answer as he gasps at the sight. It was a sheet of paper with an awesome wolf drawing.

"Wow.." James said.

"Happy birthday man" I said with a smile.

"Wow thank you" James said with a smile back. "I knew you could draw but I didn't think you could draw this good"

"Yeah heh" I said, scratching the back of my neck. "I don't really do much at home.."

"I love it" James said. "It looks cool. Thank you"

"You're welcome" I said.
