Chapter Four: As I Lay Dying (2x22)

Klaus wakes up naked in the forest. Klaus looks at the sun and smiles. Someone throws him some clothes. Klaus turns his head and both Elijah and Kaira are there. Kaira smiles at Klaus

"You've been busy," said Elijah

"That was amazing. How long has it been?" asked Klaus

"Almost 2 days," said Kaira

"Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf," said Elijah

Klaus gets dressed

"I can change at will, then. It's good to know. I remember every single kill," said Klaus

"Yes, I've been cleaning up your little mess along the way," said Elijah

"Just like old times, brother," said Klaus

"You've had your fun," said Kaira

"I believe we have a bargain," said Elijah

"That's right. Now, what was it again? Oh, yeah. Wait. I remember. That's it. You wish to be reunited with our family," said Klaus

"You gave me your word, Niklaus," said Elijah

"What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me and Kaira," said Klaus

"I could have. But I didn't," said Elijah

Elijah helps Klaus put on his jacket

"And now no one can, not even you. Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven," said Klaus

Kaira's smiles fall, as she realizes what Klaus said

"Where are they?" asked Elijah

"You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough," said Klaus

Klaus, Elijah and Kaira return to Alaric's apartment, and they all walk through the door

"Klaus, you're back. Look who decided to come for a visit," said Katherine

Klaus looks at Stefan

"You just keep popping up, don't you?" asked Klaus

"I need your help...For my brother," said Stefan

"Well, whatever it is, it's gonna have to wait for a tick. You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention," said Klaus

Elijah looks at Stefan

"You understand how important family is, or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own," said Elijah

"And so I shall," said Klaus

Klaus stabs a dagger through Elijah's heart, killing him

"Shouldn't have trusted him," muttered Kaira

Klaus pushes Stefan against a wall

"Now, what am I gonna do with you?" asked Klaus

Klaus puts a stake through Stefan. Stefan groans and buckles forward but Klaus holds him up

"Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart. The slightest little movement and you're dead," said Klaus

"He's just trying to help his brother," said Katherine

"The witches said you had a cure. Make me a deal. Just give me the cure, and I'll do whatever you want," said Stefan

Klaus takes out the stake. Stefan falls on the floor. Klaus walks over to the counter, puts the dagger on it, and pours himself a glass of blood
