Chapter Eight: Disturbing Behavior (3x04)

Klaus and Stefan are in a clothing store, drinking champagne and waiting for Rebekah who is trying on clothes. Kaira is leaning against Klaus' chair and completely bored

"There has to be more to this dress," said Rebekah

"There's not," said Klaus

Rebekah comes out of the fitting room. Rebekah is wearing a short, black dress

"So women in the 21st-century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, Kaira and I got dirty looks for wearing trousers," said Rebekah

"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing," said Klaus

Klaus glanced up at Kaira, admiring the fact she was wearing tight jeans and a low cut top under her denim jacket. Klaus then looked back over to Rebekah. Kaira smirked at the fact Klaus glanced at her, after a thousand years together, she was glad that Klaus still found her attractive

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident," said Rebekah

"It's dance music," said Stefan

"People dance to this?" asked Rebekah

"Hmm," said Stefan

"Are we done?" asked Klaus

"Yeah, are we?" asked Kaira

"And why are you so grumpy?" asked Rebekah

"I'm just bored watching you adapt," said Kaira

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace. And you lost it," said Klaus

"I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for 90 years," said Rebekah

Rebekah looks at Stefan

"So what do you think?" asked Rebekah

"I like it," said Stefan

Rebekah doesn't seem satisfied with his answer

"What? I said I like it," said Stefan

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan," said Rebekah

Rebekah goes back into the fitting room. Klaus and Kaira look at Stefan

"Nice one," said Kaira

"Good work," said Klaus

"You're the one that pulled the dagger out of her," said Stefan

"I heard that," said Rebekah

"All right. I'm going to get some fresh air," said Stefan

Stefan gets up, Klaus pours himself some champagne and Kaira then goes and sits in Stefan's spot. Later Stefan joins Klaus, Kaira and Rebekah at Gloria's bar. Stefan enters. Gloria is sitting at a table, her hands floating above a large tome on a table filled with candles. Klaus, Kaira and Rebekah are at the bar

"You left us," said Rebekah

"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode," said Stefan

"Tell me about it," said Klaus

Stefan looks at Gloria

"What's she doing?" asked Stefan

"She's failing," said Klaus

"It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on," said Gloria

"So use me. I only wore it for a thousand years," said Rebekah
