your eyes so blue
they spoke to me
of dreams I never knew

your lips so sweet
have promised me
such heavenly delight

your heart so pure
it gave to me
a love I don't deserve

I took your name
without a thought
its echo is my curse

I drowned your voice
deaf to your plea
its sound is all I hear

I would give all I have
to undo what I did
lest your image
will burn my soul to ash
