The next day, Adena tags along with them to the art gallery. She blabbers the whole way, but not in an annoying way. She knows where to stop so as to not cross any boundaries, and be sarcastic but still not hurt anyone's feelings.

"Look!" Adena hisses, fingers digging into the flesh of Harry's arm once they reach the gate of the art gallery "It's Liam motherfucking Payne."

Zayn shoots Harry a confused look, who just shrugs. "He is a senior. One grade ahead. Adena has an unhealthy obsession...ouch." Harry glares at his best friend, who continues grinning innocently "Fine. She has had a crush on him since forever."

"Then why don't you just go and talk to him?" Zayn asks, making Adena frown, blush, and shake her head violently.

"No! Are you crazy?! I will make a complete fool out of myself!" Adena states as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

None of them push the matter any further. They just walk in, and roam about marveling at paintings. Until two familiar faces catch Zayn's eyes.

"Niall?! Louis?!"

The two boys, who have been totally engrossed in talking, turn their heads at the sound of their names being called, and immediately smile at Zayn and Harry.

And then Liam walks over to them, smiling oh so bright and warm, and Zayn distinctly feels the way Adena tense beside him.

"Hey, man." Liam greets Louis, who smiles in return and a bro hug.

Adena is standing like a complete statue beside him, and he knows it's up to them to ensure Liam talks to her...and she doesn't end up making a complete fool out of herself. So, Zayn turns to Harry, but he is busy checking out a tall, blonde guy with a great ass, so he just rolls his eyes.

"You guys know each other?" Zayn asks, gesturing between the two brunettes.

"We live in the same block." Louis says, and Liam grins again. He never stops doing that, and Zayn wonders if his cheeks hurt. But then Liam is speaking and he focuses on his rich voice.

"I didn't introduce myself! I am sorry that must be rude! I am Liam Payne."

"Zayn."

Liam gaze flickers to his right, like, Zayn realizes with an internal grin, has been doing since they have arrived. "Adena, right?" Adena snaps her head at the sound of her name, eyes wide and caught "We share History together."

"And English." Adena says too quickly and too nervously. Zayn internally facepalms, and she looks like she is either about to pass out or go hide in her room forever.

But Liam only chuckles. "And Chemistry."

Adena grins at that, confidence entering her posture. "And Biology."

Zayn rolls his eyes at them, thinking how sickeningly cute they are without even realizing, and when he turns his head towards Harry, he is already looking at him, green eyes filled with adoration. Harry blushes and quickly looks away, making Zayn chuckle softly and almost nervously, because he realizes that he is blushing too.

"You are an artist?" Liam asks Zayn, who nods "Can we see your works?"

"Of course! This way!"

They walk over to where Zayn's paintings are. Ella is sitting beside (in her booth), and she smiles and quickly waves at them, before looking back into her phone.

"You are bloody talented." Liam says, eyes fixed on the paintings.

Zayn notes, that each time one of them walks into the art gallery, they connect with one of his paintings. It's a proud moment, really. Because at that time, he knows, he is capable of capturing someone's soul.

"I really love the sea." Liam says "It's calm and beautiful...but it can be fierce and dangerous too... It.. It reminds me of someone."

And Zayn grins again, because that's exactly how he views Adena. A calm, beautiful girl who can reach any limits to keep her loved ones safe.

And Harry is shaking his head beside Zayn, because neither Adena nor he noticed just how madly in love Liam is with her; how he notices every little thing about her.

And everyone notice the adoring eyes Zayn and Harry give each other. That is, except those two.
