Brooke woke up and looked over at her clock, 4:00 am. She looked over at Lonnie who was still knocked out. She groaned and got up. She always woke up really early and she had no idea why, she just does. She grabs a pair of sweats and a loose take top and heads out for her morning jog trying not to wake Lonnie. She jogged for about an hour then headed back to her room to shower and get dressed. By the time she was out of the shower Lonnie was awake her alarm clock already dead on the floor in pieces. "Do you want it to stay broken this time?"

"I would love to, but I can't." Brooke gave her a feirce glare, "Please," she clasped her hands together and pouted her lip.

"Fine," she sighed; she drew a circle in the air with her finger and snapped no incantation needed.

She shoved her glasses on her face as she waved to her friend and walked out. She got some coffee then headed to the hall where she normally did some homework before class. But when she got there, she saw Fairy godmother and the VK's, "Oh, Brooke what are you doing here?" All the Vk's look at her and again her eyes lock onto Carlos.

"I usually sit in here during free period," she said tearing her eyes away from him.

"I'm sorry dear your welcome to sit in the back and do whatever you need to."

"Thank you, Ma'am," she sat in the back, placed her headphones in and drew in her sketch book. She felt eyes burn into the top of her head and saw Carlos look at her drawing with fascination. "You might want to pay attention," she said quietly with a smirk. He blushed and turned back to the front. The princess saw Jay poke his cheek before she turned back to her book.

Jane ran in a moment later, "Hello dear one," her mother greeted.

"Hi," she whispered. Brooke loved Jane but she can be very skittish, and it was clear she was terrified of the villain kids. "I need you to sign off on early dismissal for the coronation."

"Everyone remembers my daughter Jane."

"Mom!"

"Jane this is everyone."

"Don't mind me as you were."

Brooke saw her run the wrong way, "Jane, we have pre-calculus next period," she ran past the door the other way.

She finished her drawing and started putting her stuff in her bag. When she looked up Jay had Carlos in a headlock on the table. "Boys I'm going to encourage this energy on the Tourney field."

"No thanks we'll pass whatever that is" Carlos said for both of them.

"It wasn't a question," the princess warned them. "It's never a question.

~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~
Brooke watched tourney practice; Jay tore through all the players teammates and opposing team alike. He didn't even spare a glace for his friend. Poor Carlos got pummeled, it didn't help his case that he was half the size of every other boy on the team. She walked onto the field and heard the couch ask. "Ever thought about the band," she walked up next to her brother, Jay, and Carlos. Jay didn't even try to contain his laughter.
"I'll work with him, coach" Ben said.
"We'll work with him," Brooke added leaning into her brother and putting an arm around him an easy task considering they were about the same height. The Coach nodded knowing that Brooke was one of the best players at the school. The only reason she wasn't on the team was because of the outdated rule book. If anyone could whip Carlos into player shape it was her.  Carlos thanked her, "No problem," she said with a slightly upturned lip.
"I really liked your drawing this morning."
"Thank you it's of Tinkerbell, I was trying to draw her from memory."
Chad came over deciding to test her mood today. On a good day she would roll her eyes on a bad day she would punch him for even thinking of touching her without permission; on a really bad day she would push him in the lake. "Hey Lyn," He threw his arm around her and glared at Carlos as if telling him to back off. She glared back at him.
"Leave me alone Chad," She growls, literally growled, like she had a beast in her.
"You know people are going to call you a freak if you keep doing that," She rolled her eyes despite the fact hurting.
"Leave her be," Carlos snapped. It wasn't very intimidating since he was a good five inches shorter and had already gotten knocked down on the field
Chad raised an eyebrow and looked ready to start a problem, thankfully another voice called out, "leave her alone man," Brooke turned and saw Jay looking at Chad like he was about to kill him. Carlos had a glare on his face, she saw his fist shaking, "It's clear she doesn't wanna talk with you," Jay said placing himself between Brooke and Chad. Since the coach was still on the field and he didn't want to get cut from the team he glared at the two and left.
"Thanks for that," She smiled. "Why did you do that? I thought you were a flirt." She said poking Jay, "and you just got pummeled by him," she said to Carlos.
Jay laughed, "yea I am but I don't like when guys disrespect girls, you guys can be scary. He wasn't respecting your boundaries. I have two girl best friends I can tell when someone's uncomfortable. I'm a villain not a monster."
"I didn't get pummeled," Carlos crossed his arms, "I may be smaller than him but he's clearly afraid of the us so that gives me something."
"Seems like chivalry class does nothing for that boy," she commented. She had already chosen not to judge them, but Jay just gave her a whole new outlook on himself even if he referred to himself as a villain.
"Wait that's a class?" Jay asked.
She nods, "Yeah," he groans, making her laugh. "You'll have no issues though. So, you made the team?" he nodded. "You know you're gonna have to work with others right."
"Yea I don't know how that's gonna go" he admitted scratching his neck.
"You just have to listen and add to the team trust me it's not as bad as it might seem. Me and Ben have been a team since we were born, and I must say we are brilliant. You just gotta stick together. That's how a team works." Jay smiled at her. She turned to Carlos, "and don't worry we'll help you get on you'll see. See ya guys, I'm gonna go see how if I can make Chad float," with said that she ran off leaving a laughing Jay and a blushing Carlos in her wake.
