Brooke was in the back of Remedial Goodness 101 doing homework today as usual, Carlos sent her back the answers to her physics homework every now and then, it was like he could sense when she was stuck. They had an unspoken communication that worked extortionary well, almost better than her and Bens. "Children, excuse me. Um, as you know, uh, this Sunday is family day here at Auradon Prep. And because your parents can't be here due to, uh, distance," She tried to put it lightly. "We've arranged for a special treat," the Fairy Godmother announced.

"Oh no," Brooke whispered to herself. All the Vk's stood up and walked over to a TV. When they saw their parents, they looked back at Brooke thinking she maybe had something to do with this, which would have had to be a sick joke if it was, 'cause she knew how they felt about them. She put her hands up and shook her head.

The villains were having trouble turning to their screen, two minutes later it seemed that they figured it out cause Brooke heard a loud, shrill voice shout, "Evie, It's mommy. Oh! Look how beautiful. Oh, you know what they say, the poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

"Don't you mean the weeds?" Brooke glared at Maleficent; she knew that was stupid, but she didn't care. She laughed in the face of evil pirates at the age of four, why would she care about a fairy whose biggest achievement was putting a princess and her kingdom to sleep for a century, a lotus bed could do that.

Cruella stuck her head in, "who's the old bat," She looked a lot crazier than she once was if that was even possible.

"This is Fairy Godmother," Mal answered.

"Still doing tricks with eggplants," Maleficent laughed.

The woman gasped, "I turned a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage," she said clearly offended.

"You really couldn't give Cinderella till one A.M.? I mean, really. What, the hamsters had to be back on their little wheels?"

"They were mice! They were not... they were mice. They were not..."

Mal took fairy godmothers hands in her own, "thank you so much," she said ending the argument.

"They were mice," Fairy Godmother whispered to get the last word then walked away.

"Hi mom," Mal greats

"Mal! I m-m-miss you," Evil Queen just had to smack it out of her stuttering. Brooke rolled her eyes and turned back to her homework.

"You children are never far from our thoughts," Jafar's voice said.

"How long must mommy wait to see you?"

Mal swayed uncomfortably, "Um, there's a big coronation coming up. I think sometime probably after... that."

Brook narrowed her eyes, "When?" Maleficent demanded.

"Friday, 10 A.M.," Mal answered robotically.

"You sure I can't see you before that? I don't know what I'll do If I don't get my hands on that magic wan... you... you little nugget that I love so much."

Brooke took in a sharp breath, "Yes, I completely understand, mother," Mal answered solemnly and quite nervously glancing back at the princess, Brooke pulled up her list of all that could go wrong. She knew this was all going to smoothly. She stopped herself, she took a deep breath, maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought. She had to assume that Maleficent of all people would want Mal to do something for her. Brooke believed in second chances, coming to Auradon was their first chance, the chance they never even got. Their second would be the wand, if they actually go through with stealing it. Brooke would have to put an end to it right then and there, but they deserved the benefit if the doubt. They deserved a chance to prove that they weren't like their parents not only to Auradon but themselves as well.
