Chapter 16

"So what exactly are you going to do? Sure you can stay here for the night, but if my mom comes in the middle of the night, then we're both dead."

He contemplated on what he was going to do. I know he didn't want to leave and go back home, but at the same time he didn't want to stay home and cause me any trouble. 

"You can stay here, but you're going to have to go back at one point.", I say while getting on my bed making room for Geoff. 

"Are you sure you won't get in trouble?", he asked. 

"Oh no. I'm sure I'll get in trouble,", I say making Geoff frown," but I'm sure I can deal with it if it's for keeping you safe."

Geoff followed getting on the bed looking guilty. 

"Hey, don't be sad. I know how it feels to have your family not support you. It's probably worse for you because I mean, church is your whole family's life and I'm really so about that." 

Geoff just stayed silent. 

I know he didn't want to cause any trouble. He just didn't know what to do. Should he stay and face his mom tomorrow or should he go and face her tonight?

It was currently 8pm and he just wanted today to be over. 

"Geoff, come here.", I say opening up my arms to give him a hug. He came into my arms and just stayed there. 

No one said anything, but I knew he just had to be held. He just stayed in my arms not saying anything, but that was okay. 

As long as they both felt safe.
