"OH I'M so glad you two could make it." it's a gorgeous afternoon as Pippa and Nana meet Angela. She's standing at the entrance of Rome's Roseto Comunale, a loved location of one of the world's most beautiful rose gardens. Just peeking in, Pippa can't wait to get in there and poke around.

"We're so glad you invited us!" Nana says, "never would have thought to come here."

"I spend a lot of my free time here, especially during the flowering seasons..." Angela says, her voice drifting off, "it's nice a nice place to be when your husband is always working." she chuckles shaking her head, "anyways, lets go in there's so much to see."

Angela is practically dragging the two through the gates, with excitement.

The sight of the expansive garden takes Pippa's and Nana's breath away. Roses in pinks, reds, and whites cover slopes and pathways in all different ways- they'll probably have to spend hours wandering to see it all. It's also like they're being hit head on with the reeking smell of the flowers evocative fragrance; but it's refreshing with notes of citrus.

"Wow it's beautiful," Pippa mutters under her breath. A strong breeze makes the aroma stronger in her nose, but she loves it. There's a tiny smile on her face because she loves flowery smells and their looks.

In some ways, Pippa is like a flower. Gentle, bright, beautiful- but they wilt. A girl like her with all the kindness in the world can in fact be ruined.

"There's some cute things over here,"

Pippa feels like she's in heaven surrounded by all the bright colors and light. Whereas in London she feels like she's suffocating from the darkness that is her family and the city that's brought her nothing but pain. Italy however, has given her the complete opposite of what she's been used to. Kind memories and a man she feels strongly towards. Holidays are always supposed to be an escape from reality but then you always end up wanting to go home, yet Pippa doesn't want to go home. A smile is plastered on her face as she feels the sun shining on her face, it's like she's in a dream- her rosy little world.

"So you and Santino seem close." Angela smiles knowingly, nudging Pippa and bringing her focus back to them. She's been dying to talk about him to her. Pippa knew this was coming, it's like everywhere she turns has to do with him now.

"I suppose." Pippa blushes, very sure that they're catching on.

"He could not keep his eyes off you at dinner."

Then Nana pipes up, "and I saw you kept glancing at him too."

"Teaming up on me! Thanks." Pippa sticks her tongue out at them, "because of that I won't give you anything-"

"- So not fair."

"Give us something! Matteo always talks about you two, how it's getting in the way of Santino's focus on work, I guess." Angela shrugs trying to recount the conversation she'd had with her husband once.
