The three matures were walking in a group, Kae and Ai being a lovey-dovey couple while Aizawa felt somewhat like a third wheel on a highschool date. Out of desperation, he pulled out his phone and called Yamada. He picked up, but was tired.
"Hey hun, why'd you call me? It's early."
"Hey booba, I really miss you. I've got no one to snuggle with."
"Hitoshi's cat has been crawling over me while I'm trying to sleep, that's the closest I'm getting to snuggz."
"Closet thing I get is a pillow that's basically air."
"Aw. How's the trip? You getting any souvenirs?"
"I gotcha a little pin, it's got the white house on it."
"God now I want to go to a different country and get you something. Do you want a cockroach?"
"I think I'll pass on the cockroach. You don't have'ta get me anything. Although I was thinking we could go to California for our anniversary?"
"Ooh? If you do, I'm paying for most of it."
"Whatever makes you happy."
"How's the classes? None of them are panicking or worried about leaving something?"
Aizawa sighed. "Kaminari and Sero put Bakugou's wallet in a safe, in our hotel and they can't figure out the combination."
"That sounds like them. Numeri sent me a photo of you two going to DC in middle school. You both look so different."
"Please don't tell me it's the one in front of the Washington monument. I've hated that picture."
"It's not, it's you and her standing on either side of Lincoln."
"God I forgot about that one. We had one in a store where she put all the workers the sleep and drew on their faces."
"Oh my god Toshinori told me about that one! The register guy, had cat whiskers, right?"
"Yeah, we found it so funny. I'm guessing school is closed today?"
"Mirio closed it. I don't know how, but he convinced Nezu. Oh! He said that your trip has been shortened by two days for costs."
"Seriously? We can cut down the DC days, but I'm taking these kids to New York."
"I'll tell him that, but how's the trip been for you? I know you've been there, but it's probably still nice and exciting. Right?"
"I mean, I've seen most've the places. We're at the Pentagon Mall right now, never been here but it's nice. Huge mall too."
"Nice. I've gotta go and set up lesson plans and grade tests, talk to you tonight? Er, tomorrow for you."
"Yeah, call me at 11, I'll be up by then."
"Mnkay, love you."
"Love you too."
And with that, Aizawa ended the call and slipped his phone back into his pocket. As soon as it was in his pocket, it started going off like wild.
