Lafayette and james
Flip flopped world part 2
-----
James stepped into the coffee shop, already feeling awkward. He was meeting one of Thomas' friends from France, and god from the pictures he was...something else.James knew he had no chance, but he couldnt help but feel flustered as he saw the man walk in.
He wore a tank top that showed off his toned arms, and had his afro tied back into a ponytail.
"You must be James. Im Marqui de Lafayette." The frenchman said, smiling as he shook the mans hand. Thomas had arranged for his two friends to finally meet. But of course, he "accidentally" couldnt come.
"Pleased to meet you." He replied, blushing. Why must he be so easily flustered?
"Ive heard a lot about you from Thomas." Lafayette said, chuckling beautifully.
"Have you?" James asked suspiciously. Knowing Thomas, the man spared no details.
"Oui. I think you are quite...how you say..uh...adorable!" The tall man said, chuckling.
If James wasnt blushing before, he is now.
"Oh. Thank you." He murmured, his eyes darting around the room.
"Tell me, James. Are you and Thomas dating?" Lafayette asked.
Of course. Hes probably interested in Thomas. That makes sense. Its not like someone beatiful and samrt and attractive like Lafayette would be attracted to someone like James.
"Oh. No. Hes, uh...hes single. And gay, too." James said, becoming quite quiet.
"Well, good for him. But, I wasnt asking about Thomas." Lafayette responded, starting at the small man with warm chocolaty eyes and a comforting smile.
James turned beet red, bunching up the sleeves of his shirt and becoming unable to even look at the man.
"...Y-you werent?" James stuttered out in amazement as a smile creeped onto his face.
"Non. I was wondering want a man like you would be doing tonight." Lafayette asked, holding the mans hand.
Lafayette smiled at the way James blushed like mad, and it made his heart flutter the way he looked. Flustered, all becuase of a few words.
"Would you like to come with me to explore the city tonight? Mon amis gave me some sights to see." Lafayette said, smiling.
James gathered his courage and looked up at the man, feeling his heart race at his chiseled face, the way his eyes sparkled when he smiled.
"I would love that." He replied, smiling.
Lafayette stood from his seat, walking over next to James and laning down, pecking his cheek.
"I'll meet you at 8." He whispered in an attractive voice, setting down a scrap of paper with his number, before leaving the coffee shop.
James sat there in wonderment, silently squealing.
He had a date! With an extremely hot french guy!

afayette stood waiting, shifting back and forth.
What if the man was a no show?
But then, James walked up to the man. He looked gorgeous.
"Good eveving Moussier Madison." Lafayette greeted, pecking the mans hand. James blushed just looking at the man.
"Nice to see you, Lafayette." He giggled, making the frenchamns heart skip a beat.
"I love your laugh." He said honestly, having much more courage than his date.
"Thank you." He responded, of course blushing. He hoped it wasnt too obvious in the dark nighttime setting.
The men began their walk, holding hands.
"So where are you taking me?" James asked, beaming up at the man.
"Somewhere almost as beautiful as you." The man purred, the small mans heart racing faster than he though possible.
Soon they were there. And, oh was it beautiful.
"Lafayette..." the man whispered in astonishment, looking around at Central Park, lit up with small fairy lights. The place was amazing, and it seemed like it was just the two of them.
"How did you do this?" He asked, smiling.
"I called in a few favors." He said, shrugging as he smirked.
"You must have had a lot of favors banked." James joked, sitting down on a park bench. He patted the spot next to him, and Lafayette sat, chuckling.
"You could say that.." he said mysteriously.
"Are you a double agent or a spy or something?" The southerner joked.
But surprisingly the man pondered.
"Well..non, but mon ami is." He answered, knowing it would impress the man. James gasped, looking up at the frenchman with wide eyes.
"Really? Thats so cool!" He said, warming the mans heart.
"You must have a cool friend, non? A double spy person?" The frenchman asked.
"Well...hm..I know the president, but Thomas said you do too. So im not sure if he counts." James said, trying to think of someone cool he knew.
"Non, washington cant not count. Hes Washington." Lafayette assured the man, waving his hand.
"True." James said, shrugging.
*flash forward bc im bored*
James leaned on the man cautiously, but the frenchman enjoyed it and even wrapped his arm around the man's body.
"This night is great, Lafayette." James says, and then Lafayette pecked the mans head tenderly.
"Oui, i love this." He whispered into the mans hair.
James cherished the words, leaning further into the sweet man.
*idk how to end it. There is no end. James and laff now live in central park. They got married there, their kids go to school there. There. Is. No. End.*
