Chapter 5- Leaving

(Last day at camp)

Jug's pov:

I woke up with the most beautifulest girl in the world in my arms, for the last time for a few weeks maybe even months. "Morning" She muffles out. "Morning, beautiful" I smile and kiss the top of her head. "I don't want you to go" She says as she tightens her grip around me. "I'm going to talk to my dad, to see if I can come to Riverdale High but no promises" I say. "Guys, we have a camp meeting" V says as she comes out of the bathroom. We both nod and slowly start to get up. Betty got changed into some black tight, a white crop top and one of my royal blue hoodies. "Match me" She chuckles. "Really?" I laugh. "Yes" She smiles. We walk over to my cabin, hand in hand. "I'll be quick" I smile as I go into the bathroom. I come out with black jeans on, a loose white shirt and my other royal blue sweater. "Matching!" She giggles. "Come on, cutie" I chuckle and take her hand in mine. We walk down to the breakfast hall and sit down. "You guys okay?" Betty asks Mitch and Jess. I could tell Jess had been crying all morning because her eyes were all red and extremely puffy. "Were okay" Mitch sighs. Betty grabs my hand and rests her head on my shoulder. I pull her into my lap and rest my chin on her shoulder. "I'm gonna miss you" I whisper. "Me too" She whispers back. "Alright so today everyone we will be mostly doing camp clean up which means all cabins need to be cleaned out and your bags will sit in the corner of the room, then you have free time till the buses come" The main leader says. "Help me clean my cabin?" Betty asks. "Of course, princess" I smile. "So everyone you are all released!" She says and walks over to the side. "You guys weren't at breakfast, are you not hungry?" Charles asks. We both shake our heads and grin. "Let's go" Luke says and stands up. We all split up into the cabins and start picking up the rubbish we have left and stuff. 

"Since we're done I have to go pack" I say to Betty. "Don't leave me" She says sadly. "It's only for 10 minuets" I chuckle. "Fine" She pouts. "Come here" I chuckle and open my arms. She runs into my arms and hugs me tightly. "Wanna come with me?" I whisper in her ear. "Mm" She mumbles. I pick her up so her legs are around my torso and then carry her to my cabin. "Hey, lovebirds" V chuckles. I place Betty down and start packing my bag. "I have to go pack are you coming?" Veronica asks Reggie. He nods and they both leave. "What time are we going?" Sweetpea asks. "2 pm, I think" Fangs sighs. "4 more hours" Betty sighs and sniffles. I smile sadly at her and go back to packing. Once I finished packing I put my bags into the corner and went over to Betty. "What do you want to do?" I ask. "Beach?" She suggests. I nod and grab her hand. We go to the secret spot and lie in each others arms on the sand. "I don't wanna go" She sniffles. "I wish we could just stay" I sigh. "I'm going to miss you so much" She says as a tear falls down her cheek. "Let's not think about this anymore, let's go swimming" I smirk. "We don't have any swimwear, though" She sighs. "As someone once said 'I wanna swim'" I smirk and take off my shirt. "Fine" She giggles and takes off her shirt and pants that only left her in a bra and underwear. "Come on" I chuckle and pick her up. "No!" She yells. I run into the water with her in my arms. She jumps out of my arms and starts splashing me so I splash her back. "Stop" She giggles. I stop and smirk at her. She swims over to me and hugs me tightly. "I can't loose you" She sobs. "And you won't" I say. She leans back a little so she can look at me. "I promise" I say and slightly smile. She kisses me softly and then she goes back too hugging me.  

"My skin is getting wrinkly, can we get out?" She chuckles. "Yeah, come on" I say. We go up onto the beach and lie in the hot sun to dry off. "When will I see you again?" She asks. "Hopefully tomorrow, but who knows" I sigh. She snuggles into my side more. Once we fully dried off we both put our clothes back on and headed towards the cabins. We both quickly got changed into different underwear and for Betty a bra and then headed towards the camp game room. Once we got into the gaming room we saw our friend group playing pool. "Let me guess, Mitch is winning" Betty chuckles as we reach them. They all groan and nod while Mitch has the biggest grin on his face. "Someone swap out with me" Betty says. Sweetpea gives her his pool stick. "I'm going to beat your ass" She smirks at Mitch. "Sure" Mitch says sarcastically. Betty lines her stick up with the white ball and then hits it. 4 coloured balls enter the holes. "Told you" She smirks while Mitch looks shocked. "No this is not happening" He says and lines up the stick.
