Chapter 7- No more

Betty's pov:

"Why are they here?" I ask my Mom. "To talk about what is going on with you four" She says as her eyes scan us four teens. "This is a phase" Gladys says. "This won't last long" Mom adds. "Uh, excuse you!" I snap back. "How the hell do you guys know!" Jess shouts. "Don't raise your voice" Fp snaps. "Now, Alice, Hal, I think there is one thing we agree on" Gladys says. "And what is that?" Mom asks. "That our children should not be together" Fp says. "Were not Children!" Jug shouts. "Then what are you!?" Gladys says. "Teenagers, that can date whoever they want!" Mitch snaps. "Teenager, Child, same thing" Dad says. "Except it's not!" I yell. "Don't yell at me!" Dad snaps. "You two and you two, are done" Fp snaps. "Agreed" Mom fires back. "You don't get to decide that!" I snap. "Don't push me, Elizabeth" Mom says. "You all can't decide who we date!" Jug shouts, standing up. "We can and we will" Fp says, also standing up. "You can't control my life!" Jug shouts. "Don't make me send you away!" He snaps. "Don't you dare say that!" Jess shouts as she stands up. "Wait a second, send us away!" I yell. "We are not talking about this, Elizabeth!" My dad yells. "You can't just send us away for falling in love!" I scream back. "Where would you even send us!" Jug asks. Tears start falling out of my eyes. "Let's think about this" Mitch says. "Why are they freaking out about us dating?" Mitch says. All parents look guilty as ever. "It's almost like the past is repeating its self" Jess gasps. "Thats enough!" Fp shouts. "What are you not telling us!" I yell. "You can't send them away!" Georgie shouts from the stairs. "Georgie!" I yell and go to follow her. "You have done it this time, Elizabeth!" Dad shouts. "You are doing this because of the past!" Mitch shouts. "What happened!?" I ask. "It's non of your damn business!" Dad yells. "You can't do this!" I yell. "Its none of your choices!" Jess shouts. "That's it!, you are not seeing him anymore!" Mom yells. "The hell I am!" I shout and run upstairs. I hear more yelling happening and then heaps of feet running upstairs. "Betty!?" Jug yells. "Through here" I hear Mitch say. "I can't!" I cry as Mitch, Jug, Jess, JB, Georgie, Luke and Charles, all pile into my room. "We can't let this happen!" Luke shouts. "You three out!" Fp yells at his kids. Jug pulls me into a hug. "You will all stay away from each other and that is final!" My dad yells. "Go to hell!" Charles shouts. "You want answers, everyone downstairs!" My Mother shouts. We all go downstairs and sit on the couches. Since there was not enough room, I sat in Jug's lap. I see my Dad looking at us and I could tell he was doing everything he could not to yell and scream at us. "Yes, There is things we have not told you, but its for your own good, I don't want you kids tangled up in this mess" My Mom says. "Why though!?" Jug asks. "Because, now I don't want you all anywhere near each other" Mom says. "You listen to her" Fp says. "Why can't you just let us be happy, is that so hard?" I ask. "You all have problems, we know that, but we don't, just let us be!" Jess says. "We are not going to be told what to do by kids" My dad speaks up. "Can you please just let us be together!" I plead. "No, because knowing you, you will dig up the past, that has been uncovered many time!" Mom says. "Just tell us what happened!" Georgie asks. "Until you stop seeing each other, I'm not telling you!" She says. "They are my best friends, and you do this!" I say angrily. "It's for your own good!" Dad says. "But it isn't, it is for you, we are finally happy!" Mitch yells. "I think that's enough for today, let's go" Fp sighs as he stands up. "Bye" Jug whispers. "Love you" I say out loud on purpose so they would all hear. My dad's face crunches while my Mom turns pale. "Love you two, Juliet" He smirks as he walks past his dad. "Oh hell no!" Mom yells. I smirk and run upstairs. 'Gosh I love that boy'

Jug's pov:

As soon as we got home my dad and mom insisted on talking to us. "Please promise us you will stay away from those kids" My Mom says. "Mom, you know we can not promise that" Jess says. "We don't care, you will stay away" Dad says. "And what happens if we don't" JB says as she crosses her arms. "I'll talk to Alice and Hal and figure out who will be sent away" Dad says. "So you were serious about the whole sending away thing" I murmur. "Now, you're grounded so off to your rooms" Mom says. We all go into our rooms with pissed off looking faces. I decide to call Betty since I had nothing else to do. "Hey" Betty says as she answers the phone. "Hi, beautiful, how did you get your phone back?" I say/ask. "My Mom has the worst hiding spots, anyway, What are you up to?" She asks. "Dad told me to stay away from you, but of course I won't and now I just decided to call you, what are you up to?" I say. "Not much, just got a few things ready for school" She says. "I wonder what they are hiding from us" I sigh. "It's something that Mitch doesn't know which means it can't be what they have told my brothers" She says. "How do we find out?" She adds. "My parents are in the kitchen, I'm going to go search round their room" I say. I keep Betty on the phone while I sneak into my parents bedroom. I start looking through the dresser draws and then the closet. "I can't see anything" I whisper. "Try under the bed or under the mattress" She says. I look under the bed first and see nothing then I tilt the mattress up and of course there is nothing. "Nothing" I whisper. "Behind the head board?" She suggests. I pull the headboard back a little but there is nothing but dust. "Nope" I say. "Any loose floors?" She asks. I get onto my hands and knees and carefully examine the floor. "What are you doing?" I hear my mMother say. My head shoots up from fright. "Uh nothing" I lie as my heart rate increases. I slowly hang up the phone so they don't notice. "Why are you on the floor?" My dad asks. "Looking for my contacts" I say quickly and immediately regret it. "You don't wear contacts" My Mom says. "I have homework" I lie and stand up. "Son, school starts tomorrow" Dad says. "Summer reading" I lie again. "Your ahead, You don't have summer reading" Mom says. "Bye" I say and run out of the room. "Jughead!" My dad yells. I run into my room and lock the door. "There you are" My sister says. "What the fuck!" I yell in shock as I turn around. "Sorry, we just needed to talk" Jess chuckles. I sit on my bed next to JB. "What do we need to talk about?" I ask. "About everything, Mitch, Betty, you know" She says. "What are we going to do" JB sighs. "Look, I honestly don't know at the moment, but I guess we are going to have to keep it hidden" I sigh. "It just sucks cause I just made a friend and now we are being split apart" JB sighs. We all sit in silence for a bit and then Jess speaks up. "Look, I'm going out to see Mitch so can you cover for me" She sighs. "Of course" I say. "Bye" She says and climbs out my window. "I'm going shopping with Mom soon, so I'll see you later" JB smiles and leaves. I quickly throw my school supplies into my bag and then just went on my phone for the rest of the night.

Betty's pov:

After they all left I went up to my room and started getting my things ready for. school. I packed my backpack and then I quickly picked out some black leggings, a white crop top and then one of Jug's many hoodies, to wear tomorrow. Jug and I called for a while but then he ended it cause he got caught snooping around his parents bedroom. After a while my mom calls me. "Betty, dinner!" I hear Mom yell. I go downstairs and see my siblings picking at their food. I sit down next to Georgie. Everyone is dead silent, the only noise that can be heard is people picking up their food and eating it. "I'm sure there are other boys at your school" Mom speaks up. "Don't even talk" I say. "Elizabeth, don't be rude" My dad snaps. I roll my eyes and eat a piece of my chicken. "You just don't get it" Mitch sighs. "This is a phase, you will eventually forget about him" Mom says. "God, you're such a bitch, you just don't fucking get it!" I snap as I throw my fork onto my plate. "Elizabeth!" My father shouts. "I'm done with this shitty dinner" I snap and push my chair backwards. "So are we" My siblings say. We all walk upstairs, leaving my parents at the dinner table. "I'm so done with them" Charles sighs as he closes his door. I slam my door shut so my parents hear it and then lie down on my bed. I grab my laptop from the side and just decide to watch a movie on Netflix.

(Few hours later)

It was now late so I get changed into my nightwear. I get into bed and almost turn off my lamp until I hear a small voice. "Betty?" I hear Georgie say as she opens my door a little. "What's up, Georgie?" I ask. "Can I sleep in here?" She asks with a small voice. I move over and pat the bed. She smiles big and quickly closes the door. As she lies down I slowly stroke her hair. "Anything on your mind?" I ask. "Everything, I finally made a friend and Mom is taking her away" She murmurs. "I know, but you have other friends" I sigh. "Is Mom afraid of the past repeating its self?" She asks. "Its an extremely small world, I guess" I sigh. "Yeah" She murmurs. "Excited for junior year?" I ask. "No, I hate school" She laughs. "Yeah, it's pretty sucky" I chuckle. "Now, since we have to leave for school in 8 hours, let's get some sleep" I chuckle and lie down properly. "Wait it's 11 pm?" She asks. "Yep" I say as she turns off the lamp "Thank you for including me" She says. "Always, Georgie" I smile. "Can I hang out with you tomorrow?" She asks. "What about your friends?" I ask. "They don't like me anymore" She sighs. "I'm sure they do, but if you really want to, of course you can" I say. She nods and snuggles under the blankets more. "I love you" She mumbles. "I love too, Georgie" I smile and that's when I fall into a deep sleep.
