Chapter 4- Camp (Part 4)

 Betty's pov:

"No, no, no, no, this can not be happening!" I shout. "How did I not know!?" Jug shouts. "Don't leave me!" Jess cries as she jumps into Mitch's arms. "I'm not going to leave you, Bub" Mitch sighs. "If my mum found out she would send me away, for good" I say. "I can't loose you" Jug says and hugs me. "You won't, but no one and I mean no one can find out" I say. "Fuck" Mitch mumbles. "What are we going to do" Jess cries. "What's going on?" Everyone asks. "Everyone meet Jughead and Jess--" I sigh but get cut off. "We know who they are" Charles chuckles. "Jones" I sigh. "Jones!" Luke shouts. "And meet Betty and Mitch Cooper" Jug sighs. "oh fuck" Charles says. "Well you can't stay together!" Toni shouts.  "It's like a double case of Romeo and Juliet " Cheryl says. "What do we do!?" I say. "I think you stick it out" Veronica says. "I agree" Zach says. "You guys were obviously made for each other" Zoey says. "All of you" Charles sighs. "What's the big thing though!?" JB and Georgie yell. "Please tell us" I sigh. "Fine" Mitch says. "Wait, really" I say. "Mm" Mitch murmurs. "Well, the reason why there is a big rivalry is because Fp and our dad both wanted mum. They both fought and fought but Mum picked dad and then Gladys came to town and Fp fell in love with her but Mum got jealous and tried to get Fp back but dad found out and they broke up. Fp and mum got together and... Dad and Gladys got too together for revenge. Gladys found out she was pregnant with Fp's child and Mum was pregnant with Me. Fp broke up with mum and got back with Gladys. Mum was heartbroken so she ended up with dad. It became into a big thing and that's all mum told us" Mitch says. "That's so stupid" I groan. "Mm, but not to Mum" Charles says. "She was in love with Fp" Luke sighs. "I'm is sorry, Betty" Cheryl mumbles. "It's not your fault" I sigh. "Why couldn't I know this before?" I ask. "I'm really not sure" Mitch sighs. "Mum wanted to protect you" Charles says. "We better head back" I sigh and stand up. "Betts?" Jug asks. He stands up and I know he can sense the worry in my eyes. "It will be okay" He sighs and takes me into his embrace. "Come on" Luke sighs and then we all walk back to camp. 

Jug's pov:

"What's the time?" Jess asks. Fangs gets out his phone to check. "6:30 pm" He says. "We still have 30 minuets" Sweetpea says. "What should we do?" Zoey asks. "Let's just go back to a cabin or something" Cheryl says. We all nod in agreement and walk to the closet cabin. We all sit on the floor in a circle. Betty sits down on my lap so I wrap my arms around her and rest my chin on her shoulder. "Let's play confessions" Georgia suggests. "What's that?" Luke asks. "Really!" JB yells. "Oh my god, it's a game where you ask someone something and they have to confess" Georgia says. "Alright, I'll start" Veronica smirks. "Toni, do you have a crush on someone here?" V asks. "Maybe" She smirks. "Betty, What do you really think of the south side" She asks. "Toni, that's enough" I growl. "What, I'm just asking" she says. "My mum has always told me to hate you guys but I really don't. You are all amazing and you are all people just like me and her and him" Betty smiles as she points. "Uh, Jess, how did you and Mitch meet?" She asks. "Well, I was walking to my cabin and dropped my towel. Mitch ran over and picked it up for me and then we started talking and then it turned into the make out session" Jess grins. Everyone starts chuckling. "Alright, Jug, How did you and Betty meet?" Jess asks. "Well, we walked into each other on the beach and started talking" I say. "Well, that was boring" Cheryl murmurs. "Shut up" Betty chuckles. After a few rounds we all started to get bored so we decided to walk to the cafeteria. "Juggie" Betty sighs as we reach the cafeteria. "What's wrong, baby?" I ask as pull her closer to me. "I'm tired and want cuddles" She giggles. "Your so cute" I chuckle and hug her tightly as I kiss the top of her head. "Come on love birds" Veronica says. I go to walk forward but Betty pulls me back. "Up" She pleads. I pick her up so her legs are around my torso and her arms are hung over my shoulders. She snuggles her face into the crook of my neck as I hug her closer towards me. "Can you stay with me tonight?" She whispers. "Of course, baby" I say and kiss the top of her head. "What's up with her?" Luke asks as we sit down, Betty still in my arms. "She's tired" I chuckle. "She's going to have to soon" Mitch chuckle. Betty shakes her head and tightens her grip around me. "Are you hungry?" I whisper to her. "No" She murmurs. "Wanna go back to your cabin?" I ask. "Will you stay with me" She says with a pleading voice. "Of course I will" I smile. She nods as I stand up. "Bring me some food" I say to Sweetpea and walk towards the door. "Are you alright?" I ask Betty as I walk to the her cabin. "I'm worried" She mumbles. "Why?" I ask. "I'll tell you soon" She sighs. I nod and start walking a little faster.
