Chapter Eleven Explanation Part Three

As she opened the cage, rage started to fuel through my body. April was gone. Again! Who knows what my brothers could be doing to her! Or what use to be my brothers. Now there just mindless mutants. But karai released them from their spell. They had their own minds back. And the viles. They were just laying there. On the ground. I felt as if I should get one. But it could be a trap. But I also needed this rage. To do one thing. I didn't care about becoming a monster anymore. Karai. Must. Die.

I stepped out of the cage, onto the soggy dirt that surrounded me. There was no use trying to run. It was too noisy. There were too many junk cars everywhere. And April. She was captured by my mutated brothers. And the viles. That was the decision I had to make. Would I drink them or not? Would I keep this rage to make me a better fighter? Or would I let it die down in fear that I could be defeated? But none the less. Karai did this to my family. She saw my sensei die. She mutated my family and kidnapped my girlfriend. Her life ended now. She drew out her katana from her hip. I pulled out my staff from my shell. I dug my foot in the dirt, ready to charge. Her eyes narrowed at me. My teeth grinded at the fact that she destroyed my family. Finally, we ran at one another.

Her blade clashed with my staff. I pushed her against the fence. Causing it to rattle. She smiled. I was confused. Then she slashed me on my neck. I started to bleed. But I couldn't give up. Not now. I started to get up. The ground felt like a prison. Something was keeping me there. Begging me to stay. But I couldn't. I had to get up. She started to walk over to me and laugh. She laughed at my pain. I bled so much from my neck. So much that tears started to flow freely from both my eyes. But then I realized. This was just the motivation I needed to spark the virus.

I jumped up. She was shocked. She tried to run. But I was faster. I slammed my Bo staff into her back. Causing her to fall to the ground with a huge thump. She seemed scared. But that was all behind me now. With blood still dripping from my neck on to he face. I put one finger on her chin. I smiled and said. "Don't make me come back here again because if I do." I slashed her leg open. Giving her a bloody gash. She screamed in agony. She would be able to walk. But the pain would be almost unbearable. "That gash in your leg will be the least of your problems." I held the end of my staff to her neck. The part with the blade attached to it. Threatening to kill her right there on the spot. I should have done it. I shouldn't have given her a warning. She should be dead. But instead. I let her up. I let her go, like a fool. She limped away until I couldn't see her anymore. I turned around. I saw the viles. I took the bag that they were in. Slung the strap around my shoulder. And ventured off to find April.

I walked slowly in the wind. For I could hear my brothers better that way. I could also pick up there scent. They were to the east. But somehow. When I followed the scent. It led to the rooftop of a building. A tall building. One that no one should ever set foot on. It wasn't safe. I saw April tied up in the corner. She laid next to some firewood. Why? Then. My heart broke in two. She had been beaten up. Bruises from her face. All the way down to her feet. She was black and blue and unconscious. I think they were going to light her on fire as well. I wouldn't let that Happen. I ran over there to rescue her but as I started to untie her. I heard demonic laughter. "Shit." I said. It was a trap. They knew I'd come running if I saw April hurt. They all came slowly walking towards me. One of them said, " I'm not going to hurt you, donatello. I'm your brother. Trust me." I started to tear up. Then my anger ran through my body like acid. Boiling up my emotions and my actions. I yelled, " you use to be! Now your all just nothing! Your nothing to me! You hurt the one I love! And you all will pay for the pain you have caused me." I drew out my staff once more. Another one of them said, "Awwh, little brother thinks he can win?" They all laughed. Then the third one said, "finish him."

They all ran at me. They were as fast as lightning. Mikey came at me first. Punching me in the stomach. I was knocked against one the buildings in the roof. Raph also came charging at me. I avoided him the first time. But the second. He beat me down. Right into the cement where I lay idly. Waiting to perish right where I lay. Then Leo came walking towards me. Put his foot on my shell. He laughed and said, "it's over donatello. Join us." But there was only one more thing I could do. I reached into my bag and splashed some of the liquid in the vile on Leo. It burnt him like acid. He fell backwards. Mikey and raph didn't know what to do. Luckily, I still had enough energy to grab April an get out of there. I didn't know what I had just done but I do know that whatever I just did. Would change everything.
