April and I walked through the sewers. I would take her to the lair where she would be safe. We walked, and walked, and walked. Plus, it was very dark. I was use to darkness consuming every inch of the sewers. But she wasn't. She held onto my muscular arm very tightly. I blushed and she did this because I felt needed by someone. Somebody I loved dearly. I said "hold on April, were almost there." "Almost where?" She said. The light of the lair began to shine on the both us brightly. As I began to look at her, holding my arm in comfort beside me. She was a lot smaller than I thought. She was about half my height, with shining orange hair. Her hair was pinned back with a hairbow and a yellow hairband on top of her head. She wore a yellow shirt with the number "5" on it. She also wear cloth on her wrists. Blue jean shorts, and black leggings. She also wore black shoes. Her clothing was not normal but she was one of the only humans I had ever seen so how did I know what normal was? She was still as beautiful as ever. She also seemed scared. She was in a dark and disgusting place. It was new to her.

The light of the lair came closer and closer as we continued walking. We entered the entrance and she let go of my arm. She seemed amazed at our home. The living room, the dojo, our rooms, the kitchen. But she was the most amaze at all the pizza boxes lying around because she said, " wow, is that all you guys eat? Pizza?" I said, " yeah, pretty much. Pizza is the most amazing food in the world!" She shook her head at me and started to smile. Her smile could turn a crowd of the most depressing people into the happiest people on earth. Her smile, it was amazing. It made me smile right back at her.

I saw her look around the lair. We walked to together and I showed her around. My brothers still weren't back yet. But I was glad to spend time with April. It was nice. I hope she feels the same way about me as I do her. When we walked into the dojo, she said. "Do you actually fight with that thing?" She snickered. I said, " in accurate terms, it is a Bo staff. I have practiced it ever since I was a little turtle." She said "I don't believe you, show me." Now was my chance to charm her with my smooth moves and my good looks. I swung my Bo staff around. Twirled it. Did backflips. Stood on one hand, and with the other twirled it. And it must have been really late because she fell asleep on me. I wasn't even mad. I carried her to the couch without waking her up. Covered her up with a blanket I got from my room. Pushed her hair back and told her goodnight. I sat on the other side of the couch listening to the clock tick. Watching her sleep. And waiting for my brothers to return.
