INT. ELIE'S ROOM – NIGHT
The dim glow of a laptop fills the room, a film quietly playing in the background. Elie sits cross-legged on her bed, diary open in her lap. The sounds of explosions and action from the film contrast with the calm of her space. She glances at the screen, then back to her diary, starting to write.
ELIE (V.O.)
Hi, Crush.
She smiles to herself, scribbling a little faster now, clearly amused by her thoughts.
ELIE (V.O.)
Mahilig ka talaga sa mga action at horror movies, no? Alam mo ba, dati ayaw na ayaw ko ng action films kasi nababaduyan ako.
Her eyes dart to the movie on the screen—a sci-fi action scene plays out. She chuckles quietly, shaking her head.
ELIE (V.O.)
Pero nung nalaman ko na favorite mo yung mga Sci-Fi at action films, hayun tuloy, nahawa ako sa'yo—pinanood ko na rin yung mga pinapanood mo. (giggles softly)
Except sa mga alam mo na... kahit 20 years old na ako, hindi pa rin ako nanonood ng mga ganun.
She blushes slightly, scribbling quickly as if embarrassed by her own admission.
ELIE (V.O.)
Kahapon, pinanood ko yung Iron Man at Transformers. Nagustuhan ko, hindi naman pala baduy—astig pala!
Elie pauses, nodding in approval as she remembers the films. The background noise of the movie continues, but she's fully immersed in her diary now.
ELIE (V.O.)
Dati kasi, puro Korean movies lang ang pinapanood ko. Teka, nanonood ka rin ba ng mga Korean movies? Magaganda rin yung mga yun, try mo.
She leans back against her pillows, her writing softening, more thoughtful now.
ELIE (V.O.)
Alam mo ba, yung unang Korean movie na napanood ko ay Miracle in Cell No. 7. Grabe, super nakakaiyak yung movie na yun! Napanood mo na ba yun?
Elie's face softens as she recalls the emotional scenes.
ELIE (V.O.)
Kung hindi pa, panoorin mo. Maganda yun, promise. Tsaka yung My Mighty Princess, maganda din yun. Try mo ha!
She closes her diary with a satisfied sigh, glancing at the action film still playing on her laptop. The corners of her mouth lift into a small smile as she settles into her bed.
