After the meeting, Imani and Marcus worked together on training his men and organizing the new information they got from the spies. Imani's statement at the meeting was true and it seems that they have several superhuman soldiers for the max of 15 groups.

With this new information, the finalization meeting went by swiftly with her and Marcus leading it. The plan changed a bit, but it was full proof and nothing was going to stop them from taking down the Blue Bloods and their leader.

Marcus POV

It's the night before the war, I'm currently staring at the jeweled ring in my hand. 'Should I ask her? What if she says no.' I toxic thoughts starting with 'What If's' fill my mind, so I take a breath and try to calm down. "It's now or never." I put the ring in my pocket and take a deep breath in, and a deep breath out.

I walk upstairs and step into our bedroom, Imani turns around and gives me a soft smile. She's currently wearing one of my dress shirts, holding a thick red book in her hand. I smile and walk up to her, I hold out my hand. She closes her book, placing it on the side and holds it.

"Imani, since the day I've met you I have been able to see the world in a different light. I never thought that I would meet a goddess on this twisted world, but I did. You don't know how happy I was when you officially became mine and how I became yours. Even in our days of pure peace and in the midst of pure chaos I know you'll always be there for me. I know that I'll always be there for you."

I take out my ring from my pocket and show it to her, she overs her mouth and starts to tear up. "Will you, Imani Adams, the goddess of my life marry me?" She nods, "Yes, yes!" I chuckle a bit and smile, I slip the ring on her finger. Once it's on I grab her by the waist and pull her into a loving kiss.

She wraps her arms around my neck to deepen it, I pick her up making her laugh a bit and toss her on the bed. I pin her down and admire her beauty, I wipe away her tears away and kiss her cheek. I lay down next to her and hold her close, 'I know we will win, I know we will survive.'

Their peaceful night passed, the morning rang and the men against the Blue Bloods stood tall. Both sides were large, but none made the first move. Imani and Marcus led the charge, waiting for the other side to attack.

They watched the crowd split in 2, allowing a path for none other that there leader, Chris. Once he's in the front he smirks at them, "I'm going to give you one chance to surrender now, I'll be the only leader in the Mafia world, with a stunning queen by my side. Maybe I'll even spare you, Marcus, as long as Imani becomes mine peacefully."

They stay silent, not letting his words affect them. Chris knows, they would never accept his terms. He knows that death may be the outcome, but he is determined to get what he wants and nothing will stop him.

He takes his gun from its holster and aims it for the sky, once he pulls the trigger both sides begin there attack. Blood was shed and people were crushed by the superhumans in the Blue Bloods army.

As the battle rages on, the weakness of the superhumans become clear. Their neck is the most sensitive part of there body, and once this information was clear the Blue Bloods began to grow weak.

Imani's plan was flowing perfectly, as signals were fired and the formation of there team shifted. Their formation was simple but effective called the Flying Wedge, it divided the Blue Bloods men. This made them scatter and become easier to take down, once the couples group split into smalls strips the Blue Bloods men started to dwindle.

This didn't go unnoticed by Chris, but before he could direct his difunctional men the couple got to him first. They circled him, Marcus with his guns and Inami with her deadly blades. They wasted no time in striking him, but he barely escaped from there grasp. Chris ran with a trail of blood following him.

The couple looks at each other and nod, they began running after him. Into the woods, he went which made it difficult for Marcus to get a clear shot. Chris started to slow down when the foot's steps of the 2 were no longer heard.

Little did he know, both were slowly approaching him allowing to plants and trees cover them. They were like lions hunting for there pray, waiting for the right time to strick. As Chris began to lower his guard, he looks down at his wounds. A loud click is heard, he looks up to see the gun owned by none other than Marcus Rosano.

He tries to get up my, but he then feels a blade on his neck owned by the woman he loves, Imani Adams. Before he could say anything to them, both simultaneously went for the kill. Marcus shot him in the head 3 times, while Imani slit his throat.

She stands and looks at his dead body, memoirs of the days they spend in High Schools comes flooding back. She can't help but smile, she gets back down and closes his eyes. She then places her hands together, "May your soul rest in peace, and this life leaves you behind."

She stands with Marcus, he holds her hand, and they walk back to the battlefield. The closer they got the louder they could hear the cheers of there men. Dead bodies were scattered, but their men were victorious.

They smile a bit, but Imani takes her last couple of orders. "Separate the bodies! Our men in one and the Blue Bloods in the other! Once you're done, bury them!" They do as she said and begin the task, Imani begins to cough up blood. Marcus took notice of this and helps Imani down, he looks down to see some wounds that went unnoticed. Imani holds his hand, "Don't worry there nothing too fatal, I just need to get them patched up later on."

He sits down next to her and holds her close, time passes and the bodies were finally piled and buried, Marcus helps Imani stand. She weakly walks over to the new graveyard and gets down on her knees, the others stare at her in confusion.

He places her hands together and closes her eyes, "May your souls rest in peace, and this life leaves you behind."

The tension and rage of war that once filled the air is now gone, her simple words set the souls that fought feel a small piece of happiness. Those souls can move on, leave to live another life and finally rest in peace.
