Imani POV

5:00 am

I get out of my bed, rubbing my scalp and playing with my curly hair as I make my way to the bathroom. I use the restroom, brush my teeth, checking on today's schedule, and look over some emails.

7:00 am - Breakfast with Auntie

8:30 am - Gym (Self workout)

9:45 am - Meeting with Herbal Shots (Logo)

12:00 - Lunch

1:00 - 4:00 pm - Meeting

4:00 - 8:00 pm - Workout Train

9:00 - Midnight - School Work

I quickly jump in the shower and watering my thick hair, once I step out I quickly dry myself off. I fix my hair, get ready and pack my bag for the day. I check the time, 6:35 am. I text Auntie that I'm on my way to our usual spot and she sends 7 gifs representing her excitement.

I finally make it to our breakfast spot and order myself a hot chocolate with a cinnamon roll. About 5 minutes later my Auntie strolls in, wearing her lavender tank top, skinny jeans, and flip flops. I get up and give her a big hug, she's been with me since my parents died in a car accident so many years ago. She saved me from being taken and has raised me to be a lady my parents would be proud of.

"Imani, it's been too long~" I giggle at her dramatic sigh. We sit down and catch up on our lives. "So Imani, have you found a nice man yet~????" I laugh a bit, "Auntie you know I don't have time for that, I have too much on my plate as it is." She takes my hand and rubs my knuckles, "Listen, I know you too well. Your young, you should be partying, falling in love and living life, not working like your 40." I give her a small smile and she continues, "You have worked so hard ever since your parents died, you've always been the top of your class, succeeded in everything you do and you've reached your goal collage wise. You have a couple of months left at Moonset University, you being able to be the first to get your degree and you already have more than enough money! So, why?"

I see the distress written on her face, "Auntie, I promise to you that this won't be forever. But I want to see the world, you know I thrive alone and I know that your concerned but I promise you that I'll be fine. I just haven't found the right set of people to hang out with or the right guy."

She drops the subject and hands me a thin book, I read the cover.

The Art of War

I smile, jumping in my seat, "Thank you so much!" She laughs at my childlike excitement, "No problem, I know that you like books about strategy and war so I picked it up for you."

I know what your thinking, 'Out of all the books this chick wants, she wants a book about war?'

Well I love watching anime and I always admired the characters that would strategize and plan attacks, so I picked it up at a young age and it never stopped. My Auntie giggles a bit, "If war breaks out on this country, the government is going to snatch your ass so quickly to command the front lines." I laugh at her joke, "Yeah right~"

Our fun quickly comes to an end as we part ways, I make my way to the gym. My gym partner Cj is my self-defense mentor. 'He's the silent type, he's nice but he's a bit odd...' I see him every day and we don't talk much. Once we're done he leaves with his girlfriend and I take a shower in the back.

After my shower, I change into a business skirt, a white blouse and my black heels. I get in my car and drive my way to the Heatly Shots company for a meeting.

The meeting was a success, I make my way to a larger gym on the calmer side of the city. I change my clothes in the back and wait for my first trainee.

Ruby Roseno is my first customer, she has a nice bubbly personality while mine is calm and cool. We have hung out a few times, but for the most part, we don't go out together much due to her busy life at home.

Lucus Ricci and his brother Mario Ricci are super competitive, they use that competitive fuel to stay fit and to surpass each other.

Then I had a mother and her daughter, I always talk to them a bit more than the others. 'This could have been mama and I.'

I finally make my way home and start to finish up my last minute reports, once I'm done I read my book and head to sleep.

This is my life. It's satisfying, but soon it will be life-changing when I finish this school year, I'll finally be able to travel around the world. But I kinda wish something exciting will happen, oh well.
