Disclaimer, I have no idea where I read something along these lines. I do not know who came up with it. But it made me think so I'd like to share it. Once again NOT MY WORK.
A man asked a group of kids once. "Which would you rather, be shot? Or be broken hearted?" All of the kids, except one girl, had said get broken hearted. The girl raised her hand, and simply said. "I'd rather get shot. Because a physical wound can be healed. A broken heart can't be fixed."
The man nodded his head, and said. "None of you except that girl, have been broken hearted to know how much pain it is."

This really stuck with me. I feel this way a lot of the time. If you have been heartbroken, I'm truly sorry for the pain you were ever put through.
