Jimin's mother, Jieun, had just finished cooking Jimin's birthday dinner. Jimin texted her earlier in the day saying that he was going to hang out with a friend after school. She was happy he was making friends finally. Hanging out with him on his birthday was even better.

Jieun looked at her wrist watch just as she put some seaweed soup in a bowl, ready for serving. It was getting really late and she was starting to get worried; but then she suddenly heard the bell ring.

"Did Jimin lose his keys?" She mumbled as she wiped her hands on her apron and headed to the front door.

Figuring that it was Jimin, she pressed the buzzer to open the gate. A minute later she opened the door expecting her birthday boy, but instead was greeted by her Ex-Husband.

"Wow, I'm surprised." She scoffed "While we were together you were never home for Jimin's birthday; but now that we separated you come all the way to Seoul to s—"

Her ex husband whom had a crazed look in his eye maked his way in the house without permission. Jieun scoffed again and closed the door.

"Look Jimin isn't home ye-"

"I had to kill our son tonight." Was all he said as he paced back and forth in the living room.

Jieun blinked her eyes in confusion. "What the hell are you talking about? Are you going through your crazy moment again? Have you been taking your pills? I don't need you coming here to—"

"I-I had to do it! Our son would've turned into one of those....those blood sucking demons." He then grabbed on to her shoulders hard, causing Jieun to yelp in pain.

"Yah! Let go of me before I call the police." She screamed trying to get out of his hold.

"Haven't you been watching our son! He's been with a vampire lately, and a very powerful one at that! Why are they lovers?! Why haven't you been watching Jimin!"

Jieun forcibly pushed her ex husband back. "Get the hell off me! Talk normally so that I can understand what your going on about."

But suddenly her attention was bought to the television that is currently playing, when Jimin's name was mentioned.

"A 19 year old high school student, Park Jimin and his teacher have gotten into a car accident this evening near ***** road. The cctv shows that a large white truck came speeding down the intersection, totaling the car. Some how the teacher, who doesn't want to be identified, ended up with minor injuries. But Park Jimin is now in critical condition. Police officers are investigating this hit and run ca...."

At that moment Jieun couldn't hear anymore of the background. She dropped to her knees in despair, her heart pumping a mile a minute. She felt numb, but she had to get up quickly to find what hospital her son went to.

After she regained some strength to move, she ran out the house. Not caring to get a jacket on in this cooler October weather; she barely was able to put on her shoes near the front door. She wasn't thinking about her crazy ex husband that was still trying to talk to her.

She just ran on the empty dark road, she didn't even know which hospital to go to. However she figured that it probably at the near by hospital in the area. Right as she was about to cross a random street her phone buzzed in her hand, good thing she was able to not forget it.

"Hello?" She panted.

"Are you Park Jimin's Gaurdian, Kim Jieun?"

"Yes yes, I am." She halted to a complete stop from running.
