Chapter 5
Him (Paris Day 1-Part 1)

I hadn't got any dream related to him or me for past twelve days which for me was an enormous relief.

You know, at one point of time I was creeped to my core. He was going to kiss me in my dream. That gorgeous human or imaginary human was going to kiss on my lips. Okay, this didn't creep me out but the thought that probably he really exists and he has been a part of my life gives me chills.

But then I haven't missed an inch of my life except some three months that I spend on a life support after my accident. I woke up and I recognised every freaking person. Mom, dad, Alina, Armaan. So technically I never lost my memory too. Though I had a little difficulty in adjusting to a new city but that was it. Then I began with my college again. I never saw this man in my waking life. Ever.

Then how?
And who's he?
And why me?
That's the question!

Anyway, amidst all this, I forgot to tell you all that right now I'm in the most romantic destination of the world - Paris. Ishi and I are checking into our hotel.
Remember, the charity event?

Well, unfortunately I wouldn't get any time to rest even after such a long flight because I have a final dress fitting and have to approve some last minute details that have to be added into the gown.

We had decided to go to one of the in-house restaurants first to have our lunch and then head to our rooms to freshen up.

After a wholesome meal, Ishika excused herself and strolled outside saying she had to submit my silent auction donation to Chloe. It was an all-inclusive seven day luxury cruise trip for a family to the Caribbean.

I hope it gets good bids!

"Aisha, this is your room card. Freshen up and come downstairs. We'll leave for the fitting session together," she told me.

"Okay," I nodded and walked towards the tube elevator. I pressed the button with the downward arrow and waited for it to arrive at the ground floor.

Just when the elevator door opened, my eyes landed on an attractive woman probably of my mother's age trying to pick her purse and some important documents that got scattered all around. I was quick to jump into inside and help her out.

I don't know if she even saw my face because the moment I handed her passport and other things, she got up in a hurry and without even turning around to acknowledge the person who helped her, she bolted.

She was wearing a white formal suit and was quite tall. She had her hair in a tight neat bun and was carrying a Chanel bag. She looked effortless.

Actually, the theme was white for the arrival day. I was also dressed in a mini white dress with collar. It looked formal as well.

The moment the elevator door was about to shut, I noticed her phone lying on the floor.

I need to give it back to her.

I thought to myself and quickly pressed the ground floor button again. The doors parted and I rushed out of the elevator, picked up her phone and started looking to my right and left to see any traces of her.

In the far end of my left side of the ground floor, I saw a lady in a white suit and I recognised her that instant.

I ran behind her. When I realised I was close enough to call her name out, I realised I didn't know her name yet.
