I'm so sorry for the late update.
College life is a little exhausting._________________________________________
I didn't want to go out for breakfast and Ishika couldn't understand why. She almost dragged me out of the room but then she realised something was damn off about me.
She didn't pester me any further and waited for me to open up but the dumb bitch that I am, I didn't say a word. Rather I was sitting like a statue, doing nothing and staring at the plate full of various varieties of breads, juices and omelette and all kinds of stuff out there.
"Something is not right with you and dare you lie to me," She finally spoke after a long uncomfortable silence.
I raised my head and passed a weak smile. "Nothing is-"
"Nothing is right with you today," she declared. "You haven't slept, you aren't eating, you look like you will pass out any moment and I'm shit scared. I have never seen you like this before," she added.
I didn't know what to say. Ruhaan's teary eyed, disappointed, angry and broken face kept flashing in front of my eyes. I couldn't get that out of my head. I couldn't come in terms with the fact that seeing him for like 5 minutes in that pathetic state hurt me like a bitch. I was on the verge of crying and felt a connection so strong that I couldn't put it down in words. I wanted to talk to him...probably that would make me feel a little better.
"Aisha-"
"I saw the man I dream about in real waking life and it wasn't hallucination," I blurted.
"Ru...-what?"
I heard Ru...and she quickly corrected it and said What covering it up and since I'm very good with details, I don't miss stuff and I heard it. I narrowed my eyes at her knowing she wanted to maybe say Ruhaan and she knew something but I dropped the idea of talking about it to her. It might not be the right time.
I slowly nodded instead.
"Did you talk to him?" She asked.
I nodded negatively. She released a sharp breath and relaxed for a second or two.
"What would I talk to him about?" I asked.
"Nothing...I mean I thought you would ask him about those dreams," she replied.
"I can't go to a random person and talk to him about my fucked up dreams,"
"He is not any random person," she blurted.
I narrowed my eyes at her again.
"Ishika..."
"What?"
"Are you hiding something from me?"
"What? No...how- a- why would I hide anything from you?" She threw her hands away dramatically and stood up.
"Did you-"
"Aisha I have to make an urgent call, see you during the rehearsals," she quickly said and bolted out of the room.
I didn't stop her ofcourse. I cared but I didn't want to talk about it.
I suddenly remembered I had to donate something for the auction and I knew exactly what I wanted to give away.
I walked into the washroom, did my morning routine and took a long hot shower. No I didn't think about anything while showering. I was too exhausted to do so. I just let the water slide down my body washing the remains of last night away.
