Chapter 14. A Day With Him (Paris Day 3)

Aisha's POV

I don't remember when I dozed off listening to his story. It's weird but I felt a really strong connection with Ruhaan. I know I am not a part of it. I know I'm not Ahaana but a part of me wouldn't let me settle for it. It would push me more and more towards Ahaana's story.

I'm a lover of stories...interesting stories and Ahaana's is actually very interesting and somewhat tragic.

She died young. She didn't get to fulfill her dreams and wishes. She had a bad married life. She wasn't rich. She had a terrible life and I'm glad I wasn't her. I cannot be her. I cannot be so strong. I've had a privileged life. A nice family, good education and I didn't really had to work hard to earn or make a name.

Just when I was about to get off bed,
I heard a sleepy voice and I quickly turned around to see who's it was.

"Morning,"

I was taken aback for a moment. For the first time in my life, I was having a man in my bed (except my guy friends).

"Ruhaan?" He could hardly open his eyes, he was right next to me but at a safe distance ofcourse and holy fuck! He looked adorable.

"Hey," He smiled with his eyes shut and dived his face into the pillow.

Awww...

Wait...what am I doing in his bed?

"Ruhaan Jindal, why am I in your bed, next to you?"

"You slept on the couch," he lazily said.

"Doesn't explain why I am in your bed,"

"I tried to wake you up but you didn't so I asked if I should take you to my bed and you said yes so I did as you said," he explained.

"I would never say that," I stated.

"You did. Now shut up and let me sleep,"

"That's rude," I pouted.

"What is rude?" He groaned.

"The way you said shut up, I didn't like it,"

"Okay...sorry now please let me sleep," he said in a muffled voice.

"Okay sleep as much as you want to but before that please tell me how am I supposed to get out of this room?" I questioned.

"No don't go out. Not now,"

"But-"

"Aisha please," he requested but it sounded somewhat like an order and I felt the need to comply by it so I crashed my body back on the bed and closed my eyes.

It's weird. I don't even let a man come close to me and here I am, sleeping next to a mere stranger, in his room, in his bed who apparently hated me and thought I was his dead wife and I am legit fine with everything that's going around me.

Wow!

And guess what? I'm hungry.
I need something to eat asap.
