Just A Little Help?[COMPLETE]✔

Another Lead

AN- Short chapter, I know. Just trying to prepare for the next chapter which I know will be very long.

Judy and Nick had arrived to their destination at Zootopia City Hall to find assistant mayor Bellwether. She had told Judy a few times that if help was needed she would be there, and now, the bunny was going to see if this was true.
The fox and bunny saw the sheep picking up papers and books off the ground. She had dropped them because, like usual, the neglect and disrespect she got from Mayor Lionhart caused her to become clumsy.
"Assistant mayor Bellwether," Judy said, coming to the sheep and picking up a few of the book,"We need your help on a case."
Bellwether smiled to the bunny,"Of course, Judy. Would do you need?"
"The survailance footage from the canopy in the rainforest distric."
"Of course. Just meet me in my office and I will be with you shortly."
The bunny and fox nodded their heads and walked to the door that had Bellwethers name on it.
Nick had his mind on what happened on the sky tram. He knew what Judy was going to say, and a part of him wished he had listened, but another part of him still resented the bunny. Nick was never one to hold a grudge, but it's hard to forget a memory like that.
"Ok," Bellwether said, coming into the room and opening up her computor,"Let's see here, rainforest district sirvailence off the canopy, through Tuhunga. There we go," the sheep smiled,"Well, this is exciting, I never get to do important jobs like this."
"But, your the assistant mayor or Zootooia," Judy said.
"Actually, I'm more of a glorified secretary. It isn't like anyone at city hall takes me seriously."
Judy nodded her head. It was true that Bellwether didn't get the respect she deserved.
"Well, I need to go. It was fun helping. Good luck."
The sheep then left the room and Nick put on a sly smile,"You think when she goes to sleep she counts herself?"
"Shut up you dumb fox," Judy chuckled,"Ok, there it is."
The footage showed Nick and Judy running away from a savage Manches and to the tram dock. Judy cuffed the panther and they ended up falling off the dock.
About two minutes later, a black van had pulled into the scene,"Are those...wolves?"
Being correct on the observation, they bunny saw the three wolves catch manches in a net and threw him in the back of the van,"Ugh, wolves," Nick said,"These guys are not the brightest mammals ever. I mean, they are so predictable. I guarantee you they are going to howl," as if on cue, the wolves gave out a howl of victory,"Yep. There is it."
"Night howlers," Judy said under her breath,"Night howlers! That's what Manches was afraid of. The nighthowlers. If they took Manches.."
"Then they must have taken otterton too," N8ck said, finishing the bunnies sentence.
"Exactly. All we have to do is see where they went."
They followed the van through the cameras till they reached a tunnel, but the van seemed to have disappeared because it didn't come out the other side.
"What?" Judy said confused.
"You know," Nick said," If I were to be doing something illegal and I didn't want the cop to find out, which I wouldn't, I would use the exit tunnel B, which would out our wolves..here," Nick said, cutting into another camera which put their view back on the van," Pretty sneaky histler," Judy said, leaning," You know, I think you would make a good cop."
Nick sighed," I don't think so, carrots. Remember what happened when I tried to join the ranger scouts."
"But think about it," Judy said," If this case gets solved, and mammals know that you were a big part of it, it won't matter what species you are, you would be seen as a hero."
Nick grinned,"Let's just see where our van is going."
The bunny nodded her head and looked on the screen once more which showed the van go through the gates of a large building,"What is that?"
"An old asylum," Nick explain," Its been abandoned for years."
"You think that is where they are holding our mammals?"
"Would make a lot of sense."
Judy nodded her head," Ok then, we need to get there, now."

AN-Alright, there it is. I know I left out a few good parts from the original scene in the movie, but I hope it was alright. Next chapter will be up soon Ihope. If not, I apologize. Till next time.....
