Judy Hopps stepped out of her patrol car and walked into city hall, where she was schedual to talk to the new mayor, a badger named Tim Stone. It had been three weeks after the missing mammals case and the news of the nighthowlers.

The bunny still had problems processing it, and a part of her wishes that she didnt have to take that case. That she had remained a meter maid. Had she not barged into this whole thing, Nick would have never been shot.

"Mayor Stone," Judy said with a halfway smile as she shook the badgers hand.

"Officer Hopps. I know you have heard this a lot, but good job on the case. You are a real hero to the city."

"It wasn't just me who did it, sir. Nick Wilde had a big part of it."

"Well, I truly am sorry o hear about what happened to him. Officer Fangmire really felt bad about it."

Judy nodded her head," I know e only did what he had to do. It will take some time, but hopefully everything will be ok soon."

"How is that fox?"

Judy smiled," The doctor said he should be good to go home tomorrow. They were lucky to revive him and really lucky to save his life."

"Yes. He too is a real hero. I think you two will make great police partners, once he is well enough to begin training."

Judy chuckled," Hes already started calling himself 'Officer Wilde'.

Yes, Nick was ok, but he had no memory of what happened after he turned. In a big way, that was for the best. The moment the doctor told Judy the fox was going to pull through was the best news she had ever gotten. The two decided to have a second first date after Nick left the hospital.

"So, I'm sure you dont mind taking a seat?" Tim said with a smile.

"Of course," Judy said, sitting down.

"So, shockingly, we aren't here to talk about the case. After seeing how well you two worked together, everyone wants to know the story of you and Nick Wilde."

Judy chuckled," That, sir, is a long story, with a few laughs and tears with it."

"I have time for a run down," the badger said," You can start with how you first came to Zootopia."

"Well," Judy said," Me and my family first moved to Zootooia when I was fifteen...."

"Carrots!" Nick said joyfully as the bunny entered the room.

"How are you feeling, Slick?" Judy asked with a smile.

"Better," the fox smiled," Especially when I have you here."

Judy blushed a little," I love you, Nick. I know he went through some hard times, but in the end, everything happened the way it was supposed to. Our heartbreak, brought us together again. And our fear and anger, brought us closer. Had I never decided to continue my dream of being a cop, this moment right here would not be possible."

Nick smiled to the bunny with so much love as he said," Give me a kiss you dumb bunny."

The two then shared a long, loving kiss. Feeling the love they were separated from for so long.

Three years later, Nick proposed to the bunny, and through tears of joy, she said yes. They bought a house in downtown Zootooia, and started a family.

They say love works in mysterious way, and sometimes these ways seem impossible. But it happened. A bunny who hated foxes, and a fox who had life throughing lemons at him every step taken. Somehow, they came together and because the biggest love story Zootooia had ever seen.

AN- Ok, yes the final chapter was rushed and I am sorry for that. I'm thinking of writing an alternate ending where Nick DID die, but I'll leave that for debate. I hope you guys liked this story. I had fun writing it, but as far as one of my favorites go, it didnt make the cut, however, ZHS will always be one of my personal favorites. I will now try to finish my other stories, hopefully giving y'all only the best stories. So, follow me if you liked the story, and stay cool guys.
