Aiden POV
"Hey guys, wassup?" I said as I walked through the main door of Avery Highschool, giving my friends my usual greeting.
"The football tryouts are gonna be held after school today man. All that drama, all over again," Luke whined.
But I had already had that figured, just looking at his expression. Luke really did hate football. I mean in my opinion, he liked it. But had just ended up hating it because he couldn't get selected.
I was gonna have to deal with an annoyed Luke for the whole day I guess.
And as for the drama-all-over-again thing?
We had had this terrible fight last year. Something on the lines of two boys beating each other up as one had gotten selected in the team while the other hadn't. I know.....
such assholes. But it was no wonder though. Or school was filled with them.
"Man up Luke. Get over it. I don't want to spend the rest of my already boring day with the sulky Luke."
"Fuck off dude."
"Now there's the Luke I know."
He just gave me frustrated look and stormed towards his first class.
I on the other hand, went towards my locker, to get my books for my first period.
Wait..... what was that?

I frowned down at the note in my hand. This was weird. I didn't usually get notes from people. Definitely not ones from my brother. Why was he even trying to talk to me in school?
The shrill noise of the school bell brought me back to reality. I quickly grabbed my English books and went to my class.
I'll just think about that later on.

(Lunch break)
I made my way towards the table in the right corner, the one where me and my friends sat.
"Hey Aiden," my friend, Mia greeted me. I returned net getting by giving her a smile.
"Have you heard about what happened with that girl from freshman year?" Nathan asked us.
As if on queue everyone started taking about what had happened. Or rather telling what they think had happened from the bits and pieces of information they had gotten.
Soon, I found myself being a part of their conversation. Arguing with them on which version I thought was right or wrong. Atleast this had made my totally boring day a little interesting.
Little did I know just how interesting it was about to get.
As lunch break neared to an end my mind wandered to the note given by Dustyn. I had decided I was going to go. Atleast to listen to what he had wanted to say.
I got up and, talking with my friends, when I felt a trap on my shoulder. I turned back to see Amaya.
"Hey Amaya," l greeted her, not sure what she wanted to talk to me about.
