This one is short but I like it.
I was calmly sitting on my couch when Alec came in. He said he went out to the store to buy a few things. He only had one bag with him, which was odd because I expected him to get more things. He strode over to me and kissed me full on lips. "I brought you something from the store. I just saw it and thought of you." He took it out from the bag and put it on the table. It was vodka.
"Vodka?" I asked.
"Look at it closer." He was right. As I examined the bottle this wasn't normal clear vodka. This one was a mixture of pink, blue, and purple. It even simmered in the light.
"You like it?"
"I love it. Could you get me some glasses, sweetie?" He nodded and went to go get them. I loved this man. The love of my life. It's the sweetest thing that he saw this and thought of me. He's always doing nice things even if he doesn't realize it. Like he always leaves hot coffee for me on the morning for when I wake up. Even when he left early to go out on a hunt. There's always fresh coffee waiting for me. He's the sweetest person I could ask for. He soon came back with glasses in his hands. He set them down on the table and sat next to me. "It's called viniq shimmery liqueur." He smiled at me. A warm thing that made my heart do flips.
"Nice." I poured it into the glasses. It simmered even more when it was outside the bottle. As if it had actual glitter "Cheers." Alec and I clinked our glasses and drank. It was a good vodka. Almost tasteless, burned at first but I got used to it, and it made me feel warm. "It's great, like your taste in men." Actually it was me who had great taste in men. Alec is great, everything I could've asked for in somebody. Even though the beginning of our relationship was a bit rough, it's gotten better. I love him more than anything else in the world.
"I love you," he muttered.
"I love you too." I brought my lips to his in a kiss that tasted like vodka.
