Jorge and I spent the rest of the weekend talking about what our next step for coming out was going to be. We decided to wait before telling anyone from school. I'm just not ready yet and he understands.

"So at school we're just going to ignore each other still?" Jorge looks down at his lap.

"We'll always have after school," I lift his chin up and kiss his lips softly. "Especially now that my family knows. You can come over everyday after practice."

Jorge smiles at me. "Okay, but what are you going to tell Drew?"

"What do you mean?"

"He saw us leaving the party together on Friday," Jorge runs his fingers up and down my arms, giving me goosebumps.

"I'll just tell him that  you were in the bathroom when I went in there and asked for a ride home," I pull him onto my lap. He straddles my thighs and rests his head on my chest.

"I'm so proud of you and thankful that you told your parents," He sits up to look at me. "And I don't want to sound ungrateful, but is it always going to be like this?"

"No," I push his long hair out of his face and tuck a piece behind his ear.

"I want to go on a date with you," He smirks at me. "Like a real one, not us just hooking up in the back of your car."

"Oh you didn't like that date?" I laugh. He smiles and shakes his head back and forth.

"I don't think that counts as a date."

"That's too bad," I smirk at him. "Because I was going to ask if you wanted to go on a date  with me on Friday night after the football game but-"

Jorge cuts me off, "Obviously I want to." He rolls his eyes at me and laughs.

"Wow, eager to get in the backseat of my car, aren't you?" I tease. He crosses his arms in front of his chest and sticks his bottom lip out. I lean forward and kiss it. "Don't worry, I am too."

"Can you meet me in our spot everyday for before lunch? I know you have to sit with the football team and I'll be with the cheerleaders sitting right next to you guys, but maybe just for a kiss before we meet up with them?" Jorge begs.

"Yes, baby. Now let's stop talking about what's going to happen when I don't get to kiss you or touch you and just come here and let me do all those things right now." Jorge smiles and wraps his arms around my neck. He leans in and brushes his nose against mine. I close the gap and kiss his perfect, pink lips.

The next week goes by smoothly. Jorge and I meet up everyday before lunch and just talk or kiss for a few minutes before parting ways, and I pick him up everyday after football practice and he stays at my house until almost midnight every night.

I have something special planned for after the game tonight. Instead of just hooking up in the backseat of my car like he thinks we're doing, I set it up to be a real date. I packed us food and games and I even brought my computer so we could watch a movie. It seems silly to do this since my family knows now and we could do the same thing at my house, but it would be a nice reminder of where it all started. Before anyone knew, all we had was the backseat of my car. We have so much more now. We aren't two kids experimenting and just hooking up anymore. We're in love now. We have each other.

"Come on, man," Drew looks at me while I take things out of my locker and put into my backpack.  "You're really not going to come to the party tonight?"

"No, I don't think so," I zip my backpack up and shut my locker.

"Why?"

"I just have other thinks I want to do tonight," I turn around and look at him. He looks at me like I've grown a second head.

"You've gotten so boring," Drew huffs. "You don't want to do anything anymore."

"Next one, okay? I just have something else going on tonight," I roll my eyes annoyed. I walk away and head to my class.

I meet up with Jorge at our spot before lunch. I pull him into a hug and kiss his forehead.

"Are we going to your house tonight after the party," Jorge asks.

"We're not going to the party."

"Why?" Jorge snorts. I pull away from him and look at him.

"Because we made plans to do something else tonight, remember?" Did he really forget? We talked about it last night.

"I don't want to do that anymore," Jorge laughs. "Olivia said this party's going to be the biggest one yet."

"Jorge, no," I say annoyed. "We're not going to the party." I don't know how to tell him that our plans will be more fun without ruining the surprise.

"All we do is fuck," Jorge says with a straight face. I wait for him to laugh like he's joking but he doesn't. How could he say that? We have sex a lot, sure, but that's not all we do. We laugh and joke and talk. We spend hours everyday just talking.

"Is that really all you think our relationship is?" I'm mad. I want to yell at him and tell him that if he'd just come to our date tonight it wouldn't be like that. Instead, when he shrugs his shoulders, I just leave.
