"Baby," I groan as Jorge kisses my neck. "We need to go."

"Come on," Jorge rolls his eyes. "Do you really think they'd leave without us?" The football game this week was a few towns away and we're running late to catch the bus. Luckily the game was close enough that the cheerleaders could come, too. I needed my good luck charm cheering for me.

"No, but someone will notice that we're both not there," I push his shoulders back gently to make him stop kissing my neck. I look at the clock on the wall of the janitors closet and sigh. We need to be at the bus in five minutes. "Anyways, if you keep this up I'll have to fuck you and I don't want to ruin that pretty cheerleader uniform of yours."

Jorge smirks and goes back to kissing my neck. My pants tighten when he palms my through my jeans. "Okay, so do it," Jorge at me with a grin on his face.

"Tonight," I kiss his lips and pull his hand away from my pants. "We really have to go though."

"Okay," Jorge rolls his eyes. He sighs and grabs his backpack from off the floor and slings it over his shoulder with a huff. Just as he's about to walk out, I grab his arm and spin him around.

"Don't be mad, baby," I kiss his cheek. He's been frustrated all week with everything going on with Laney. He won't say it, but I know he's jealous. Jorge isn't the type to ask for validation, but this week I've been doing my best to make sure he knows how much I love him.

"I'm not mad," He gives me a fake smile and walks out.

I give it another minute before grabbing my own backpack and walking out. When I get to the buses, they're already loaded and everyone's waiting for me.

"Where have you been? We're going to be late," My coach yells.

"Sorry," I get in the bus and look for a place to sit. It's packed full of people. Jorge's sitting with Olivia towards the front, laughing and talking. I smile to myself as I pass him.

"Benji!" Laney calls my name. "I saved you a seat."

"Thanks," I give her a small smile and sit next to her. Jorge and Olivia are sitting right in front of us. I thank the universe for giving me a chance to be next to him, even if we can't talk.

"Do you think you guys are going to win?" Laney smiles at me.

"I think so. Their stats aren't very good for this season," Laney nods her head.

"Well," Laney clears he throat. "Maybe I can be you're lucky charm?" She blushes.

"Yeah, maybe," I give her a small smile. I watch Jorge's smile get replaced with a deep scowl. He tries to brush it off but the wrinkles in between his eyebrows don't go away when he rests his head on the window and stares off into space.

"Fuck!" Drew yells and punches the locker in front of him. We weren't even close to winning, in fact, we lost by almost 30 points.

I sit down on the bench in front of him and put my head in my hands. It's my fault we lost. I couldn't throw for shit. I was too busy worrying about Jorge to even be paying attention for most of the game. I don't care that much that we lost, but I've let my team down as well as Jorge.

"I'm sorry, Drew," I look at him.

"I had a scouter here," He sighs and sits down next to me. "I know it's a year early, but he came all the way to watch me play."

"We have the rest of this season and next year, too," I try to comfort him. He just shakes his head. "I don't know what happened."

"It wasn't just you. Everyone was playing like shit." He stands up and grabs his things to shower. I sigh and follow him, need to shower too. When I'm done I go back to my locker and get dressed. Almost everyone is gone and waiting at the buses.

When I get there, I sit down next to Laney and close my eyes, not wanting to talk. I can feel Jorge's eyes on me, but he doesn't say anything.

"I guess I wasn't you lucky charm after all," Laney gives me a small smile when I open my eyes. I look at Jorge, who's still turned around in his seat and looking at me.

"Yeah, I guess not," I say in an annoyed tone.

"I'm sorry," Laney looks at her lap. Jorge rolls his eyes and turns around to face the front of the bus. The tension gets to me, so I stand up and find another seat in the back of the bus.
