"Baby, wake up," I rub Jorge's back and shake him slightly. It's at least eleven o'clock in the morning and the sun's beaming through the windows.
We spent the whole night playing board games and watching movies. By four in the morning, we fell asleep watching a movie Jorge picked out.
"What," Jorge groans and hides his face in pile of pillows under him. He's still completely naked from last night, as am I, so we need to get dressed before someone comes up to the viewing spot and sees us.
"Let's go back to my house," I pull him up so he's sitting up. He rubs his eyes and looks around with his eyes squinted. "Here," I hand him my sweatshirt and a pair of boxers.
"Thank you," He smiles at me and pulls the sweatshirt over his head. I pull a pair of sweatpants up my legs and a t-shirt over my head. While Jorge puts on the boxers, I look down at my phone and notice a few texts and miss calls from Drew.
"Bro, where are you?" Is sent in a text followed by, "I'm coming to your house!" They were sent only a few minutes ago.
"Um, baby?" I look up at Jorge who's finished getting dressed and laid back down waiting for me.
"Hm?" He hums with his eyes closed.
"My moms's mad about something. I think I have to take you back to your house," I don't know why I lied to him. Maybe I don't want him thinking I'm ditching him to hangout with Drew, but I don't tell him the truth.
"Oh," He looks at me with disappointment. "Okay." He sits up and crawls up to sit in the passenger seat. I sigh and open the trunk, walking around the car and sitting in the drivers seat. I start the car and drive off. We drive in complete silence, neither of us wanting to be the first one to speak.
When I pull up to his house, I put the car in park and look at him. He gives me a small smile and says, "See ya."
"Wait," I grab his arm and spin him around so he's facing me. "That's all I get?"
"I thought you were mad about something," Jorge's face drops. "I didn't want to push it."
"I'm not mad, baby," I pull his face closer to mine by his chin. My lips brush softly against his. "I had so much fun with you."
He pulls away and smiles. "I had fun with you, too," I leans in and kisses me. "Thank you."
I push the hair away from his eyes, making him blush. "I love you. Can I call you later?"
Jorge nods his head and kisses my cheek before opening the car door and running up the stairs to his house. Once the front door is closed, I pull out and drive to my house.
When I get there Drew's sitting at the kitchen table, having a cup of coffee with my mom.
"Hey, guys." I sit down next to Drew and smile awkwardly.
"Where were you?" Drew takes a drink of his coffee and sets it on the table.
"Weren't you with J-"
"I was just out. Didn't want to be home," I cut my mom off and give her a look. She nods and looks down at her coffee, stirring it with a spoon.
"Oh," Drew laughs, completely oblivious.
"Let's go upstairs?" I stand up and walk up the stairs to my room before he can answer.
"I have big news," Drew says when we get to my room and close the door. "What's that?" Drew looks past me at my nightstand. I turn around to see a bottle of lube on the table next to my bed. Fuck.
"Oh, um," I stutter trying to think of something to say. "I don't like lotion."
Drew shrugs it off as I put it away with a deep blush on my cheeks.
"You missed a crazy party last night," Drew laughs. I laugh along with him awkwardly. "Laney got super drunk and told everyone she's into you!"
"Laney? The cheerleader that hangs out with Jorge and Olivia sometimes?" I want to smack myself in the face for bringing up Jorge. Drew probably noticed Jorge wasn't there last night either.
"Yeah! Jorge couldn't come so Olivia invited Laney," I sigh in relief when he doesn't mention Jorge beyond that. "And she told us that she's been into you for a while!"
I just look at him. I don't know what to say. "Oh, I don't know about her."
"Come on! You haven't gotten any pussy this year! Last year you were with a different girl every weekend," Drew looks at me like I've grown a second head. I didn't hookup with any girl, ever. I told him that to get him off my back, but I stopped telling him that when Jorge and I got together. It felt bad telling Drew I was with girls when I was really spending ever extra second with Jorge.
"She's kind of weird," Is all I can think to say. I'm sure she's a really sweet girl and I feel bad talking about her like this.
"Benji," Drew outs his hand on my shoulder and shakes me slightly. "Just talk to her at lunch. She sits with us everyday, anyways."
"Okay," I give in. Jorge won't like this.
