"typical you, always reaching for me to solve your problem," a male that was taller than mark's built pulled out a chair across him and took a seat, "huh? and a mocha? you're really in for a business, aren't you?" he added with a smirk as he sipped on the served drink.
mark who was sitting comfortably on the chair, straightened his back with a click of his tongue, "i just need someone to hear me out johnny, plus, i haven't heard from you for a while. i thought you're dead."
the male named johnny was another close friend of mark that he met during their primary school. he was two years older than mark but they got close when mark and lucas joined the basketball club that had johnny in it as the ace player. apparently, mark and lucas were the best ones among the new comer and johnny took interest in them and they would always play together at their neighborhood that led them to become close with each other.
johnny frowned, "that's.. the funniest thing i've ever heard."
mark grinned as he spoke, "when are you going to move to seoul? so that i can meet you often."
"i'm fine here in paju. seoul isn't that far from here but yeah, i'm just busy with work," johnny shrugged, "what's up with lucas? why don't you talk to him instead?"
mark let out a frustrated sigh, "that's the problem i want you to hear about."
"what is it? did you guys fight? oh come on! you're not kids anymore," johnny threw his hands in the air in disbelief.
"we didn't fight.. we have this misunderstanding going on and...and.." mark closed his eyes to find a better sentence how to tell the latter, "ah fuck it! yes, we're not in a good term right now."
johnny cocked a brow, "what happened? i mean you guys used to fight over that lion shaped cotton candy before and that was the worst fight you've ever had right?"
"johnny no-- that was stupid. we were literally 9 or 10 at that time?" mark chuckled as he recalled johnny was trying his best to separate them two from scratching each other faces, "but yeah no. not because of another cotton candy. the thing is.. more serious i can say."
"well, it's better not because of that fluffy sweet thingy again. you guys are grown ups already," johnny laughed but let his smile died as he dived into the serious topic, "tell me what happens between you two."
mark sighed, looking out of the coffee shop, "i don't know where to start actually.."
"i'm all ears," johnny reassured the latter.
"okay okay so, there's this guy named lee donghyuck.." mark began to say and peer at johnny who was interested to know then carry on, "and we kinda have this thing going on.. he was in love with me and i don't know.. i'm not sure if i have feelings for him too.. "
"wait," johnny halted mark from continuing, "lee donghyuck that your father's best friend's son?"
mark nodded his head, "yeah it's him.."
johnny gasped, "wow, i didn't expect that you guys finally meet again."
"that's the thing. i'm the one who searched for him because.. i have something to do.." mark muttered.
"such as?" johnny furrowed his brows.
"to make him fall in love with me so i can break his heart.. but lucas told me to stop and he was furious with this plan of mine so he gave me the cold shoulder and decided to side with donghyuck."
