mark woke up in the morning, kicking the blanket off of his body. it seemed like his cold had been cured. he wanted to get up from the bed but an arm was draped over his waist. he almost freaked out wondering whose arm does it belong to but then he remembered he stayed over at the tanned male's home.

mark shifted a bit to look at donghyuck who was still in a deep sleep. he snuggled his face in mark's shoulder with pouty lips. not realizing his action, mark was smiling while observing the latter, stroking his hair softly. he almost forgot what his family had done to theirs.

mark shook his head and quickly detached his body from donghyuck, startling him with the movement.

"what time is it?" donghyuck asked as he stretched his limbs followed with a yawn.

mark sat up, facing the other way with his feet planted on the floor, "s-seven i think."

"still got time before work starts," donghyuck mumbled as he went toward his closet and prepared his suit, "oh mark,"

mark turned his head to see the latter who had a messy hair, "hmm?"

"i'll drop you off to get your car," donghyuck yawned once again.

"sure," mark replied, watching him disappear behind the bathroom door.

they left the house and on their way to where mark parked his car.

"did you sleep well last night?" donghyuck asked as he drove the car at a medium speed.

"yeah, i'm getting better now. thanks to you," mark answered, showing a little smile at donghyuck.

donghyuck's cheeks turned red as he recalled sleeping next to mark, "that's good to hear." 

donghyuck's phone rung and he quickly picked up his airpods, placing one of them on his ear and tapping it twice before answering, "hello lee donghyuck speaking." 

mark tore off his gaze from the latter and looked outside the window.

"ah lucas! why do you call me so early?"

mark furrowed his eyebrows, trying not to get affected at the conversation.

"hmm okay i'm free later. where do you want to meet? okay okay, i'll see you," donghyuck ended the call with a small giggle that made mark clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"who's that?" mark asked as he faced him, playing dumb with such anger laced in his tone.

"it's lucas," donghyuck smiled.

mark rolled his eyes and muttered, "what does he want?"

"ah, he asked me to go out lunch with him," donghyuck answered, not knowing how annoyed mark was at the moment.

"you're getting along well with him i see," mark said mockingly.

donghyuck was confused at mark's words, glancing at him shortly before focusing back on the road, "what do you mean?"

"the last time you said you were not comfortable with him but now, you even had that stupid smile on your face while talking to him and agreed on going out with him," mark ranted.

"wait what-- hey, that's because it was my first time meeting him and i had mistakenly judged him. he's a nice person after knowing him for a while," donghyuck explained.
